Rust-Oleum Green Upcycled Furniture Paint in Chalky Finish - The Pinewoods 750ML (SHDRCT900)

Used this for doing a tv cabinet in the picture- also done the inside of the cupboards. Was a dark wood stain originally, sanded the top to bare wood with a small black and deckker mouse sander bought in the prime day sale for 11 pounds. Then lightly sanded the rest of the piece, such as doors etc but not to bare wood, just to remove any little bits stuck to it over the years and make a nice surface to paint over - note most of the deep, dark wood stain was still present. So one coat using a chalk paint brush, which is a round tip, natural hair brush - again, from amazon - quite a big size but it gets into grooves and corners well so that's the only brush you need - note just, wet it once before you use it. So one even coat and the old wood stain was covered and this lovely sage was now there and half a tin still left over for future projects! Handles from TK maxx. Then a light bees wax over the whole thing, once thr chalknpaint had tried properly ( couple of hours). The wax acts as a barrier and makes it wipe able to an extent. All in I think this project cost me £35 for the paint, brush, sander, wax and handles. Just used an old candle to wax the wooden runners on the drawers. Doesn't look too bad for my first upcycling project. Very good quality paint - worth the money and comes in the best colours. Very happy, would recommend and will try other colours. Wouldn't use any other brand now after this.

Lovely paint. I bought the sage green to upcycle my cabinate. Goes on like a dream. I have mine 2 full coats and a bit of touch up. I used a clear varnish after to make sure it doesn't scratch off. I would highly recommend this product.

Best green colour I’ve found the paint quality is absolutely superb. It is thick. It is a high-quality paint which I absolutely love. I am an absolute love this at the moment.

This paint is excellent value. With one can we did 2 full 6ft bookcases (2 coats, cheap PVC material), 2 cupboard doors (2 coats, wood), a frame, and one wall (1 coat was all that was needed!). It goes on nicely and has excellent pigment, for the bookcase we used grey primer first but for everything else we didn't bother because it didn't need it. We love the colour and the finish is very smooth with no brush strokes.

Beautiful colour. Very easy to work with. Gives a lovely finish. My go to paint.

Painted my kitchen cupboards but not sure if I should of used this type of paint nice colour easy to apply but stains easily
