UPDATED REVIEW: I have updated my star rating, based on the excellent support and out reach of InnoView customer service. They did clarify that this particular model did not include the power adapter. They also offered to provide a carry case, to help make up for the confusion over the adapter. I received the carry case in a matter of a few days, and was very impressed with their excellent customer outreach. Based on the fact that this is an exceptional portable monitor, and their excellent customer service. I have revised my rating back to a five star rating. . ——————— As a monitor this is a great monitor. High Definition, Vivid display with great colors, Speakers Adequate, and settings buttons easy to use and fairly straight forward. So as a monitor, I am happy - for either duplicate or extended display. And with videos and games, fairly smooth. So why only 3 stars. My problem - what is apparently included is misleading. As my computer is not able to power this monitor over USB-C, I knew I would need power adapter as well. When I inquired on Amazon Page in the question section, I asked what was included. It indicated - 2 USB cables, HDMI cable, power adapter, smart cover, cloth, warranty, instructions. What did I get - 1 USB-C cable, 1 HDMI cable, and instructions. NO USB A-C, NO Power Adapter, No Case Cover, no Screen Cloth. So, I was not even able to use it initially, as it required a power adapter that would supply 15 watts (5 volts 3 Amps), which I did not have. SO, I had to pay more money to purchase an adapter that would power it. I expected a monitor that would be ready to use. For me it was not, without spending more money. It is very light weight, and again a fantastic monitor, just be aware that if your computer can not power it, you may need to get a power adapter for it. And if you are moving it around with you, you might want to get an external case for it, as mine did not include one. I would not recommend without these clarifications first.

This product is one of the best purchases I've made!! I work from home so having an extra monitor for my small work laptop is a must. It's so easy to set up and plug in and setting up the extended display on my computer settings wasn't difficult either. I absolutely love the quality AND the size of the monitor. The brightness is great too, I have a rare eye disease so having a good display is important for my eyes and this works well for me. The power source comes from it being connected to your laptop which is convenient so there's not another cord to worry about. It's an HDMI cord and a C cord that plugs into the laptop and that's all which is convenient. It also comes with its own protective cover and stand which is also very nice. It's not thick either which is a plus for me cause it saves on space. The connection is easy as well and comes with some instructions. Overall I'm amazed at the cost because of how nice of a monitor it is. Happy customer!

Awsome product! Everywhere I take this portable monitor people as amazed that you can play games as small as super smash bros ultimate to games as large as tekken 8 by connecting a switch or ps5 to it. Now the nitty gritty details. The screen is very durable, but the aluminum that encases it is prone to scratches. The kickstand works, but it positions the screen at an awkord angle to look at. All ports are funcional and easy to keep clean. Its tricky at first to acess the devices settings but with practice you eventually get the hang of it. Very portable and fits anywhere, even in a school backpack. The screen is prone to bending, so plese take care of the fragile frame to prevent this. But even bent it will still project great images at 60 fps. Make sure to use the promo codes and gifts that innoview adds in the users manual. Thanks for reading.

The monitor works perfectly however, the only reason why I did not give it all five stars is the HDMI cord and the two C type cord does not always work accords work with anything else so I’m assuming it may be the monitor but the quality when it does work is very good.

Do you have little space and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on another monitor? This does the trick! This mini monitor replaces my laptop, as the only purpose was to have livestreams up for me to watch while gaming. Now that I have this InnoView monitor, it is so much easier to do. Setting it up was not difficult. I'm powering the monitor with a USB cable coming from the back of my Windows 11 PC, and using the included HDMI cable plugged into my graphics card. I then went into the windows display settings to get the monitor configured correctly. Picture quality is standard, not bad but not mindblowing. The colors have some extra brightness to them, so not quite as dynamic as my main monitor which uses a VA-type panel (the InnoView is IPS). Several aspects of visual quality are adjustable via the menu. I don't see a lot of blurring during motion. Brightness is decent but I don't think it will be ideal for direct sunlight. 1080P is a sharp resolution for this size while viewing from an arm's length away. The viewing angles are good but you lose some brightness if you move far. I can't comment on the speakers as I don't need to use them. They worked. I recommend this to literally anyone who is in my situation.

Customer support is no where to be found . I tried connecting my monitor to a new mac just purchased and nothing works. I get a "no signal" error message and then the monitor goes blank. Its a good monitor it it works. But don't try reaching customer support . I have been trying for tthe last 2 weeks and no response . Find another brand !!!

One Wire! I'm not going to lie, this is the best part. I plugged in one single cable (the little flat-ish one, the USB-C one) into my laptop, and boom—it turned on! No power brick, no weird HDMI jungle, just one wire. It's like my laptop is powering the whole show with its sheer willpower. That's a win for my purse/backpack, which is already a tangled mess of charger cords, loose pens, and questionable snacks. ​It's Thin: It’s thinner than a celebrity's lawyer. It slides into my bag right next to my actual laptop, and it barely adds any weight. If you travel a lot, this is your new best friend. ​The Picture is Fine: It looks great! The colors are bright, and things are clear. I've watched movies on it and done spreadsheets, and my eyes didn't bleed. What more do you need? They call it IPS, which I think means "It's Pretty Satisfying." ​It Has its Own Blanket/Stand: It comes with a smart cover that folds up to hold the screen. It's not a fancy metal kickstand, but it works, and it keeps the screen from getting scratched by my keys and said questionable snacks.

This monitor is the perfect companion to my macbook pro. Its size and thinness makes it light and easy to add to my bag with macbook. I am learning to code so I put instructional video on the monitor and I practice writting code on my macscreen. The settings on the mac allow me to use this monitor vertically. I am does not support that natively , but the macbook display settings lets me do it, if i need to. Mostly i just use it horizontally like in my picture. No glare on the screen. it works with JUST ONE CABLE connected to my Mac. You need to choose the correct USB-C port on the mac to get full brightness without plugging in the aditional power cord to the monitor. When the port does not provide enough power you will still be able to use it, but brightness will default to level"30" and that is fine for indoor use. With the correct port on the Mac, the monitor will be able to display full brightness(100). Its truely an economical and quality way to extend your screen real estate! You really don't need anything more expensive. i have tried others more expensive, and the quality is the same or less. and those monitors are heavier or harder to carry around. Thanks INNOVIEW!
