Review: Great Upgrade from C-Hook - Beautiful attachment, great functionality. This is superior to the KitchenAid C-hook from what I've seen so far, which is admittedly only making tortilla dough, but I just got this yesterday. What I make the most is potato bread, a decidedly stickier dough, and I will update this if the spiral hook does any less than awesome on that. Was really impressed with the hook's action though, which pushed the dough into the bottom of the mixing bowl rather than flinging it all around the sides. Seemed much more efficient. No dough crept up the hook, and there was nothing to scrape down the sides. The bowl came out almost perfectly clean. The polished stainless looks great, and matches the new attachment hub cover I got for my KA. Planning to get the matching pastry paddle.

**Q: Will this fit a kp50?  it's the pro 5 model.  says compatibility with the pro 5 plus, but i'm not sure what the difference is.**
A: I own the KSM50P, bowl lift, and it works. Free returns...try it!

**Q: Will this work with the 7 qt models?**
A: The attachments that are available for the Kitchen Aid mixers are size specific. If the description states 5 qt. it will not fit a 6 or 7 qt. mixer. Also, it makes a difference if it is a stand mixer or a tilt head mixer. Know your model before you order. I have the stainless steel attachments and they are superior to what came with my mixer (6qt. stand). The stainless ones go in the dishwasher.( Note : the attachments that are show in white can peel. I had that happen to me.)
