I tried a number of different windshield coatings over the years with mixed results both in durability and application. Ultra Glaco is the best. I’ve tried so far. The applicator is quite large and the solution can be deposited evenly on the windshield with a back-and-forth motion and cures almost instantly.. unlike other products that I’ve tried , the residue buffs off readily leaving a crystal clear surface. In addition to my car windshield I’ve tried it on my shower. Interior glass door with great results. After almost 3 months, the water is still beading perfectly.

When applied correctly this will last a good amount of time if you don't use the wipers all the time. The glass really should be polished out with a glass polish then cleaned with a good prep wipe like gyeon prep for example. Then apply the coating, let cure a few minutes and wipe off. Very easy and great water beading once fully cured. Love it! I don't write positive reviews often so..

I love this. On my coupe I actually don’t have to use my wipers on the highway. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because with my current setup it collects dirt while in use with Rain-X wiper fluid right where the wipers stop in the middle of my windshield and it’s very annoying. I’ve tried other fluid and it seems to do it with everything. Even changed the wipers and no luck. Still really amazing though! The only other thing is it just feels expensive for what it is but I haven’t tried Rain-X’s version. But I do like this one comes with an applicator.

Step 1 wash window with soap, water, and car mitt. Step 2 reapply soapy water, use a clay bar, clay mitt, clay towel, and remove contaminates from glass. Step three iron remover, and clay towel. Step four invisible glass: glass stripper and remove all protection from the glass with the glass stripper. Step five remove glass stripper from glass with pressure washer and a waffle weave towel. Step six dry car with drying towel or leaf blower. Step seven apply soft99 as directed by package. Step eight remove soft99 as directed by package. Step nine install new windshield wiper blades to car. Step 10 apply soft99 to wiper blades, and then remove from blade with clean microfiber towel. Step 11 enjoy a coating that lasted me 17 months on my daily driver before needing to be reapplied via steps listed above. Car sits outside in the sun everyday all day, and is driven to work 5 days a week. The longevity comes from the prep work done in the first several steps.
