what is the diameter of the upper opening? My Cole Parmer pipetter has a 13.5mm pipette tip attaachment point. Will these pipette tips fit securely?

The diameter of the upper opening is about 16mm, we are not sure whether the Cole Parmer pipettor fit our tips. We are selling the micropipettes on amazon and suggest you to try our pipettors when you have demand in future.

Do these tips come sterile or do they need to be autoclaved before hand?

These tips is not sterile, you can autoclave them before using them if you need sterile tips. We have the filter tips( 10ul,20ul,100ul,200ul,1000ul) that is sterile and Non-Pyrogenic ,DNAse/RNAse Free, you can find it easily in our store.

Are these tips resistant to organic solvent as xylene?

This tip is made of PP(Polypropylene), it is resistant to xylene, but this tip is not with filter ,the xylene is volatile and could come into the body of the pipette. We suggest you to order our filter tips that could avoid the liquid come into the pipettor body. You can find the filter tips in our store easily.
