Worked perfect
Worked perfect for cutting mirror glass trim for the top of a mirror closet. The trim was about 6in wide, scoring was easy and the pieces snaped perfect. A tool that is needed if you your need to cut/snap class/mirror.

Great tool!
This is a rarity - a tool that actually does what it says it'll do. I love it. Follow the directions, especially about using lubricating oil, and it cuts glass on a precise line, easily and quickly. Three heads for various glass thicknesses, although why anyone would be cutting 3/4" glass at home escapes me.

Well made, works great on thin glass!
I ordered this kit once, the first kit came with a warpped case, and the screw for the heads was already stripped, so I sent it back and asked fir a replacement kit. The case was much better but the screw, once again was already stripped. So I used my persicion X screw driver and that worked. The cutter works great, oil dispenser work well, but I do recommend dipping the cutter wheel in oil also. Good quality for the price. Don't be surprised if the little screwdriver provided doesn't work. Again use a persicion x shaped screwdriver of your own.

Depends on the type of glass
Used it twice, worked great the first time, not so much the second. I used it to cut down pieces from a windshield, so laminated safety glass. Worked fine. Second time I tried using it to cut a shower door, and it barely did anything.

Fantastic little cutter
Great little glass cutter, perfect for a beginner at cutting glass. Made very durable and is good quality and perfect for what I purchased it for. .y husband wants to start making wall decor out of old mirrors we have around the house so we purchased this cutter. He is very pleased with the design and comfort of the product and says that it has great accuracy. I definitely recommend this product!

Worth the purchase!
I’ve at least waited a good year to really test it’s performance and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this glass cutter performs. I’ve used it on several projects now, everything from thin 2mm craft glass to thicker 20mm panels, and it handled each one smoothly and consistently. It’s sharp and creates clean, even lines without skipping. The handle feels sturdy and comfortable, even during longer sessions. I also appreciate that it comes with replacement tips, which gives it extra value for the price. If you work with glass regularly, whether for crafting, DIY home projects, or professional use this cutter is reliable, durable, and easy to control. Definitely worth the purchase! *** not sponsored!

Takes Some Practice, Very Fun
I've had this thing for a while and I've gotten pretty good at using it, so I'd say I'm pretty happy with the product. It works well, it had held up for a while so far, and it's pretty fun to cut bottles. I was getting pretty uneven cuts at first and it seemed like I was always breaking bottles or cracking little notches out of the sides, and the biggest thing that helped me was to not put so much pressure on when doing the cutting. It's a little misleading because you're "cutting" with a "blade" and it's easy to imagine that the scoring phase is doing the heavy-lifting in the cutting process but it isn't. The cold and hot water are doing 90% of the work, the blade really is just for telling the water what to break and how, you don't need much pressure at all. It seems like higher scoring pressure just stresses the glass out and increases the risk of cracking, but light pressure gives a nice, even line. Then 3-4 cycles of very hot water and very cold water do most of the work of breaking the glass in a crisp clean line via magic. My biggest struggle now is getting the (very sharp!) edges smooth. The method of wet sandpaper on a flat surface works, but it takes FOREVER and my arm wears out before the glass does. I've been using a Dremel with a little grinding wheel and that works pretty well, but I'm not sure I feel comfortable enough to drink out of them, because they're still pretty rough. I think I need a second stage of fine sandpaper after the grinding bit. I'll report back if that ends up working and not taking forever. I also found out that drilling holes in the thick bottoms of an old liquor bottle is really, really hard if you're not using the right drill bit. I was using a diamond bit which I figured would be perfect, but it was dull and wasn't getting it done. The kit actually includes a little hole-saw style bit with a grinding edge that you can fit into any drill, and that worked way better than my dull-ass normal bit.

Read the instructions carefully. Make sure you add oil and cut at the correct angle. When you score it correctly you'll hear a particular noise. It took a few tries - I practiced on pieces I didn't need - but once I got down the technique it worked great!
