I don't know why it took me sooooo long to buy one of these things. I like this one very much!! It's easy to set up, folds down to a very nice size for storing. Love that it expands wider when set up. It's perfect for air drying small things. Well made and a very fair price.

The Black & Decker Expandable & Collapsible Laundry Drying Rack is fantastic. This rack is very sturdy. After taking it out of the dryer & still damp I finished drying one of the heaviest sweatshirts (Men's XL) I have on the rack, laying it on the drying rack's top tier. I was happy seeing that the rack remained stable, with no doubt the capacity to handle more shirts, socks, delicates, whatever within reason one would intend to use it for. I bought this particular rack with the intent to be able to use it for heavier items such as jeans and sweatshirts.The rack has telescoping tiers, so it's expandable while at the same time able to fit into smaller spaces; very versatile. Easy to clean – I would use a soft cloth, dampened with water (and a mild detergent, such as liquid dish detergent, if necessary).Before purchasing, I had a few questions and contacted the manufacturer & seller, Vanderbilt Home. They promptly answered my questions; I feel Vanderbilt Home's customer service matches the quality of their product. (The B&D brand likely was licenced for marketing purposes.) I believe this rack is absolutely worth the money, as I think it will hold up better than most other (metal) racks on the market. (I personally wasn't considering wooden racks, which are at a much higher price point.) I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Black & Decker Expandable & Collapsible Laundry Drying Rack.

It’s much smaller than I expected. I like it’s expandable.Good quality. Definitely good for small spaces.Now I need to find a normal size laundry drying rack.

Comes preassembled and seems sturdy. Easy to set up! Like the expansion capability, so you don't need to have it at full width all of the time.

This is a great hanging rack. No assembly necessary. Slides to expand for more clothes. Great for smaller spaces. Very durable materials. Lives up to the brand name!

I was looking forward to receiving this laundry rack, as it was supposed to replace an old wooden one that's barely holding together. When I received this item, it didn't come in a box, and the outer plastic wrapping was torn. No big deal. However, the item itself was clearly used and returned by someone else. The two pieces of plastic that the grooved rods are supposed to latch onto were broken off and missing, so there was no way to latch the top rack on, and because of that, the rack doesn't stand or remain open. Additionally, it was dented and some paint was scratched in a few areas. As to the construction of the item itself, the metal bars are flimsy when expanded all the way. I'm honestly surprised Black & Decker has their name attached to this; they should be embarrassed by the poor quality. I returned mine and won't be buying another. I'll look to a different brand.
