A quick update… Seller responded within 48 hours and resolved issue by contacting OEM. Within five days I received missing components and my equipment is complete and looking magnificent. I'm 6'6" will this support my height?** A: it should... the unit is more challenging for shorter people. **Q: As the maximum weight is supported by the machine without the person?** A: I ordered the machine in the picture but they sent me a totally different machine and I ended up stuck with an inferior machine because they refused to pick it up and it was very expensive to ship back. Please be very careful dealing with this company!!! **Q: Can you use 45lb Olympic plates? (The current extension/curl machine I have allows the large plates to hit the ground)** A: Yes 45 lb weights should work fine. **Q: Does the bench go flat? Or just either inclined or decined?** A: It does not go flat, it has the slight angle to flip into your hip crease for the curls better. The machine is sturdy, smooth and the padding is much better than expected. ### ⭐⭐ Poorly designed, yet technically functional *by T***A on August 4, 2024* 2 stars because you can technically use it for its intended purpose and the padding is high quality. However: - You need to buy a separate plate adapter which is extremely poor quality and has a cap that needs to be superglued down - At all positions, the seat back is very wobbly (about an inch of play!) - The base of the seat can't be locked down which hinders form at higher weights - Leg pad position is basically nonexistent. For context I'm 6'0 and both extreme settings barely fit me. If I was any taller I don't think I could do leg extension and if I was any shorter I don't think I could do leg curls. - The bottom pads have spikes on them which tear up any floor mats you may have. - All the end caps are cheap, oversized plastic that protrude and easily pop out. I don't fully regret buying this since it does allow me to do these exercises at home but I really can't wait to replace this with a proper machine sometime in the future. Also for home-gym peeps thinking of getting this be aware that this bench is very annoying to move and takes up a lot of awkward space. What's sad is that with some minor changes this would be a good machine. They could have added holes and a pulley attachment point to make this cable compatible. They could have added a locking position for the weight hinge for exercises like weighted calf raises or crunches. They could have made the loading area removable so you could use this as a decline bench.
