2HR Aquarist APT Sky GH Booster + Shrimp Mineral (150g)

SKY is probably the best remineralization powder I've ever used for my planted aquariums. It mixes almost instantly with very little agitation, doesn't get everywhere while handling it, and the dosing is very accurate. SKY won't increase your KH or PH at all since it's just calcium, mag, and trace - so if you need to increase KH/PH as well like I do then you'll have to also dose baking soda or similar. Aside from the product though, what I really appreciate about 2HR Aquarist is they are BY FAR the most informative company I've ever experienced in the aquarium hobby. Their website has a super helpful calculator that will tell you exactly how much to dose based on the water volume you're treating. They also have a really informative help section and their articles/blog posts are incredibly informative. For questions that weren't on the site, I emailed them and they responded within 24 hours. Honestly, one of the best companies I've ever dealt with.

For years I had been using Equilibrium, never again after using this stuff, it dissolves a lot better and doesn't stay chunked at the bottom of the mixing cup.

I was using salty shrimp before switching to this product. I’ve seen a noticeable positive difference in my plants and in my shrimp. Very easy to use and not chalky at all, highly recommended!

I have a thriving shrimp colony, and I thought this would be a good thing for them, so I tried it in my 14.7 gallon shrimp tank - two times, with a small amount. The shrimp immediately went to the top of the tank and just hung out there not moving, unlike their usual behavior. I have no idea what the problem was. By the next morning, they were still hanging out at the top of the water but things seemed stable enough and I didn't have any dead shrimp. But it made me uneasy. Since I read that this type of supplement was great for shrimp, I waited a bit and decided to try again in case this was a coincidence. A much smaller amount than recommended. Same thing happened. They weren't terrible but they were again all hanging out at the top of the water in a weird way. I changed the water to the usual a few days later and they were much happier and hanging out and sleeping in moss instead of at the top. They are reproducing fine already and are healthy enough. It seems that there was some type of negative reaction. I'm baffled as to why (although it could be TDS, the Twinstar Nano, etc.), but a word of warning, it would be wise to start with a smaller than recommended amount to test the waters, as it were. I just put this as a 1 star so that people would notice, but it could very well be a five star in other situations.

Sali eccellenti, equilibrati e ben bilanciati con alcuni microelementi. Ottimissimo prodotto per riequilibrio osmosi. Non ci sono carbonati e alza in modo preciso il GH. Dopo aver cercato al lungo sulle varie marche per acquari, e usato anche Equilibrium, che è quasi solo potassio, e che quindi ti satura l'acqua, finalmente ho trovato questo. Mi chiedo seriamente perchè le marche per acquari, non mettono gli ingredienti la maggior parte delle volte e fanno integratori sbilanciati contro qualsiasi logica..mah.

Estas sales suben el gh del agua sin modificar el Kh, perfectas para gambarios de caridinas. Hace más de un año que las uso y las gambas viven bien y crian de maravilla. Como punto negativo es que las cuesta mas disolverse que a otras sales, aunque terminan haciendolo y el resultado es bueno

Lo uso para remineralizar agua de ósmosis tanto directamente en el acuario o en el cubo del agua nueva,si lo hechas directamente en el acuario recomiendo disolverlo en un poco de agua antes de hecharlo ya que si no tardará 24h en disolverse por completo,me gusta ya que dice que no se apelmaza y no contiene potasio es el único que conozco con estas características, así se el potasio que hecho a la semana con el abono ya que no uso pruebas ,preferiría que vendría en un bote que en una bolsa con cierre zip pero el producto funciona perfectamente sin problemas.
