I got this for my granddaughter. It has a lovely tone, and doesn't sound cheap or tinny at all.. All parts are sturdy, and the case contains them all nicely. It's a great package for any percussion student.

My budding percussionist loves this wooden bell kit. The sound quality is great. I wish the carrying case was more sturdy and that it had the ability for the stand to be in a bag as well instead if just carrying it openly. Other than these minir issues, we love it.
