Be Ready - Industrial 12 Hour Illumination Emergency Safety Chemical Light Glow Sticks 12 Pack

For a 6" Chem-Light it does a reasonable job, at $9/12 (75¢ each) it is a great value. The green color is bright enough to light a 10'x12' room for at least 12 hours under normal room temperatures (as with all Chem-Lights temperature affects light output). It may not be bright enough to read by from more than 3' away, but you won't be stumbling in the dark either (even 18 hours later I was still able to see well enough to navigate the room it was hanging in).

These are super bright. Loved using it at night to light the back yard. Worth the price!

Bought these in 2017 for a BoB. Was recently reviewing the contents because it was long past due. Noticed these glow sticks just expired in Oct 2022. So I decided to check how bad they were given the expiration. I was pleasantly surprised to see they still strike a light upon first crack and glow pretty damn well considering their age. Let the photos speak for themselves. I would also add that I noticed the interior of the wrapper is black. I can only imagine that helps packaging with light exposure. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this product considering it outdid its own printed life expectancy. Running a time trial, but almost moot now that I know this is expired.

Super vright at first but after a few minutes they dim a bit although still bright enough to look around. They stay lit a good while tho.

Successfully got 16 hours a piece out of these for light. Manufactures numbers and expiration numbers were current. Bought for power outages in Maine. Used ones just like this in the Army for years and the quality is there for sure. Even comes with a string wrapped around it to hang anywhere in the house.

I got these for emergencies and honestly, the light emitted from them is not very bright. When it posted that it was good for emergencies, I thought they would be good to have around. Our lights were out last week and I was not impressed with the quality of these. The kids did use them at Halloween and they worked OK for people to see them. Can get more light from the glow sticks at the Dollar Store.

Will reorder.
