You can prepare your meal in the bigger 8 cup (1.8l) glass container on the oven, put a portion in the 2.cup (473mL) container for lunch in work, store everything in the refrigerator, and the smaller (307mL) are perfect for packing a snack, overnight oats, etc. Super convenient! I bought those glass containers so my knife doesn't ruin the acrilic kit I own. They are stackable, beautiful, and the lids are interchangeable between same size containers. It's worth the price! Did a small test filling the container with water. No leaks!

These containers are easy to use - get perfectly clean in the dishwasher, don’t hold doors, and have such a tight seal I think my food stays fresh longer than my old containers. If you stack the empty bases more than about three high, they tend to get wedged together, but that’s easy to avoid. Highly recommend!!

Had purchased two locally and found these to be the best containers we have ever had. Withstand microwave to dishwasher without any problems. Very well made. Worth the money. Will buy other sizes. By the way, not the kind to give food or cookies to friends or neighbors for you will never see them again. The throwaway Zip-lox work fine for this purpose.

These versatile containers work for refrigeration, oven, and microwave, but lids should not go into the oven or microwave. The seals are air-tight and water-tight. The price is higher than other food containers, but they are easier to clean and more sanitary than plastic. They are well worth the price.

EDIT 2: After having had these for a couple of years, I want to advise against microwaving the lids — they will get ugly and cloudy. EDIT 1: I’ve removed a star because there are NO replacement lids, not even directly from the manufacturer, not even under warranty. So if you break a lid, you have to replace with a whole new container. These are the storage containers of my dreams. There are many size options, they stack satisfyingly when full, and their lids are interchangeable among similar footprints (AND with their plastic food storage counterparts). They go from the freezer to the microwave to the dishwasher. The only little thing that required a learning curve was making sure the latches were securely locked; the latches are rectangular and sometimes don’t latch all the way, leading to the latch being only partially closed and bent out of shape. I’ve done this a few times and even after being in the freezer like that for days, the latches returned to their original shapes and were no worse for wear. I now use my whole palm to lock each latch so the pressure is even. FYI: in the 6th season of The Expanse, you can see these containers are used in a few scenes in a home on the planet Laconia. It’s great to know I’ll still be able to buy replacement lids many hundreds of years from now.
