The round handle of this uchiwa has a small opening at the top of the handle with a paper bowl where fragrant oil can be placed. The fan comes with a small bottle of Japanese traditional fragrant oil that will last you the whole summer, so that you can enjoy both the cooling effect of the uchiwa, and the pleasant fragrance of the oil. The imprint on the delicate white paper adds to the cooling effect of the fan: the alternation of green and light blue stylized bamboo trees creates the pleasant sensation of a gust of wind blowing through the rustling leaves of a shaded forest.
