I haven't used them yet. But I was immediately impressed when I saw them. They have a thick 18awg wire and are heavy duty, and very firm connection..

Some writing this as a good review for a product that did not work out for my project they work very well and do exactly what they need to which is DC plug barrel connectors. The length is good the material is well built ease of use is very well as long as you got a soldering iron to put this together with whatever you're trying to power up the fit and finish is amazing the only problem is I ended up going with a direct lead DC connector power which completely eliminated the need for these.

Very good product, but be sure the 2.1 inner diameter is right for you. If you need a 2.5 inner diameter, this won’t work. I bought a mini soldering iron and this is the case.

I didn't measure the gauge, but it's pretty hefty (more than I wanted/needed for driving my roller blinds motor). The connection is very snug, unlikely to wiggle loose, and red matches red, black matches black, no measurable resistance and no cross-talk. I only tested the two that I used (one pair for a different project not pictured here), so can't swear on the whole bag, but it's made for some nice and neat removable connections in my projects so I'm happy. One caveat, as some have mentioned, there is a millimeter or two of exposed metal between the connectors when fully engaged, so be sure ground is on the outside where applicable.

Perfect heavy duty replacement connectors. Very happy with my purchase, saved me from buying a new device which was more than 4x's the cost of this and I already had the soldering iron and supplies! Just a little time to do the work!

Product received was copper wire (as expected). The wire jacket is labeled 2x0.6mm^2, which is closer to 20AWG than 18, but it's fine for my application. Fits properly in 2.1x5.5 barrel connectors.

I bought this to wire up a 10 second time delay relay between an external hard drive and its power supply. I only needed one set, but the rest will be useful for other 12 volt projects. They’re well-made and the price was very reasonable.

They connected perfectly to my greenhouse fans and I can see many other opportunities for them in the future.

Very bad product... Very bad... Wires are cheap and low quality... Out of 10 pcs 2 male and 1 female is not working... Not at Ll reconende

No flimsy, rubbish cables here. All nice and solid. Moulded connectors with strain-relief. Stranded-core with pre-tinned ends. Nice, tight fit too. No sloppy connections with these!
