A: You can download additional embroidery patterns but I’m not about downloading stitches. It has lots of stitches included already

**Q: Can I use a 5x7 hoop with the se700?**
A: The maximum embroidery area for the Brother SE700 is 3.93"x3.93" for the 4"x4" hoop. We do not have a 5"x7" hoop available for the SE700, unfortunately.

**Q: Can you do custom designs?**
A: In order to create custom designs, you can use embroidery software. This is an additional purchase. The Brother SE700 is able to read the following formats: PES, DST, PHC or PEN (from ibroidery).

**Q: How heavy is this sewing machine?**
