After having no luck following directions and tutorials in attempt to disassemble the pen to reuse it- I found that just cranking the pen in the opposite direction worked to retract the plunger so I could add more oil via the tip.I’m not sure if everyone is getting the same model but the pens I bought in early June 2021 (shipped by Amazon sold by Kingmas) had this feature and I think it’s worth a try before resorting to tearing the thing apart. Seriously I have little gouge marks all over the end of my pen from trying to get the end off and if they weren’t so similar to the teeth marks my cat leaves on it I’d be buying my third set just so I didn’t have to look at them.

Great product. I see a lot of reviews saying these can't be refilled and though they aren't meant to, you CAN refill them with some patience and elbow grease (with nail oil at least--I haven't tried using anything else). I won't be able to explain it well but do a google search for "bliss kiss refill nail pen". You will find an article about refilling these same nail pens sold by Bliss Kiss and that process worked on these. You will just need to find something to use to grip the pen like those squishy drawer liners. I've refilled these many times. Eventually the bottom will fill with oil and will be hard to refill but that will get you some more life out of them. And I can say these are the same quality as the empty Bliss Kiss pens if you're looking to save money.

I didn't read that these weren't refillable until I tried to refill them. Just google "how to refill a nail oil pen". With the help of bliss kiss' instructions I refilled it in less than 5 minutes. Grippy pads/drawer liners are a must have! I struggled for 20 mins or so trying to pry it open, but all I needed was the grip pads & to pull. I'm pretty weak & I was able to pull it open easily. Other than than, they work just fine and are priced well. They took weeks to arrive. I ordered them 3 or so days after the cuccio oil, but Amazon shipped them together. I think the oil has to be shipped via ground so these took a full week of travel after the week and a half or so of processing. I highly recommend these for nail oil application. I also recommend washing them with soap & warm water when refilling to keep bacteria & germs at bay.

The package includes some extra cuticle stuff that others probably know how to use, I just needed the pen brush things to load with cuticle oil. Also, they hold a good amount. Even though I use mine three to five times a week, after over a month I still have barely made a dent in the reservoir. I haven't had any problems with leaking, but I store it brush-side-up, too.

These pens are refillable! Just don't screw all the way to the top when using. Then you grab the base, the part you twist when using it, pull straight back, it's a little tough, making sure not to twist! If you twist you can end up with the plunger locked in place or the plastic breaking and not allowing you to twist up when you've reassembled. Once the clear base is removed you remove the white plunger section. This has a few parts, the plunger itself that is threaded, the mechanism that forces it up and the and the end that attaches to the threads. Once it's removed you just spin the plunger in the opposite direction to get it back down to the bottom.

I just barely reused my first one of these last week, very difficult to pry the bottom twist off the pen but it is easy once you have done it and know how to. Great value for the price. Only complaint is that i wish it held more because i find that it only lasts about a week and a half with 1-2 applications a day.
