We use it indoors - has held up fine.

Cheaply made. The material is closer to a dish drying mat. It is not a textured door mat, but just a crude printing of what the texture should be.

The material is really soft and thin. The backing is non slip but the item is so light weight, a small puff of wind blows it off the porch. As a result of fetching it out of the yard twice, we decided to place it just inside the front door with the lettering facing out. In that way our guests will see it as they come in the door, which is the cuteness factor, which sadly this item only has the cuteness factor going for it. You are supposed to be able to machine wash it and hang it to dry. The picture sure does look like the stiff mats that you can clean your shoes off on before you come in the house. For $21, I'm disappointed. Would not purchase again - and it shipped from China, so it took a few days to get here.
