Good one inch thick foam panels
Good panels. I am using them on the doors of a metal cabinet that I put on a wall in my studio. The majority of my room is done with 2" foam, so be aware that these might not be thick enough for all applications, but for some applications they are perfect. Takes about 24-48 hours to decompress to full size, unless you want to try the water and hair dryer method (instructions included). Good purchase for my application.

Love These
I would give this a 5star rating but I dislike the two sided little sticky tape. Works good I should had bought two more but it has muffled my sons room a tad. I feel two more might do some justice. The tape is small and time consuming. Still gets the job done just small. Great look to my sons room and the price is right. Again, no issue just the tape I don't feel for. Durability is just fine and I've heard of a smell, we haven't detected that.

Took a while until I figured out
You need to separate the rows from each other, when mine were delivered, they weren’t taking shape until I realized the end was stuck to the adhesive, making it impossible to reform to the original shape.

They are OK.
I knew these wouldn't be top tier in this price range but just some things to consider. They have peel off backings and an adhesive on the back, this adhesive barely held on my wall for a day. I think they know this so they also include double-sided adhesive squares. Be warned these are much stronger adhesive and will peel the paint off your wall, unfortunately they don't seem to stick very well to the foam and even after redoing the entire wall using these squares I had several fall off over night. The QA on these are also not the best, not every square is cut to the same dimensions, so this makes laying out a nice alternating pattern on your wall more difficult. Nothing was way out of whack but I'd say they were +/- .25 of an inch. They come in a vacuum sealed pack to compress them for shipping. All of them came back to life nicely aside from the top and bottom 1/2 pieces per package. Those had some issues returning to normal state, even after following the instructions for how to restore them. Tugging on them with your fingers was the best way to get them back to shape but they still don't look as nice as the squares that weren't on the top or bottom of the pack. Several days in and they still stink, it's not the most offensive smell but it's unpleasant. Compared to something like the Auralex foam squares, these can't compete, but overall I'm pretty happy with the way my wall turned out for the price. Verdict: they are OK, decent for the price but not without fault.

Helpful
I noticed my loud ass reverbs don't bounce that many times in the room as much.

Awful
Not at all what I wanted. I just reordered since I’d bought them before, but these did not come with a peel and stick back - they came with a sheet of peel and stick squares that need to go in the four corners. That means 8 TIMES the effort to put them up. There aren’t enough of the squares to be able so split tiles, so if you don’t have an even 12 x 12 multiple size room you’re out of luck. They sag in the middle instead of staying on flat. Waiting overnight to see if they even stay up, but these were a huge disappointment. I recommend you look elsewhere for something that has glue across the entire back.

Behind a painting canvas
I attached these tiles to the back of a large painting canvas to deaden the sound in a bathroom and while it's not perfect, I will say that the sound travels less; so in my book, that's a success. The adhesion is very good and they are easy to use. I would buy them again and continue with the sound deadening in my walls-made-of-paper home.

Not the best at nose blocking
Great price but didn’t really help with noise reduction.
