Nothing actually "snaps" there is a buckle that goes over the car seat for extra support. So literally any car seat will work I had Graco snap fit 40 it's the biggest car seat and it still fits. It's seems like it would be a little insecure but I have used the stroller on dirt pathways and lifted it up to get over curbs with no problem. I would say it's my # 1 best twin product I have bought.
