It utilizes industry standard E1.31 sACN and DDP protocols for control of up to 680 WS2811 pixels (4 Universes) or 63 GECE Pixels. It also supports DMX512 devices with a built-in RS485 transceiver for driving DMX differential pairs. The ESPixelStick V3 can be powered with 5V-24V, depending on the pixels you are connecting. Just the same voltage that your pixels use, no configuration is required for changing voltage. The controller is small enough to fit inside 1.25″ PVC, allowing you to embed the controller next to your element eliminating issues of long pixel runs. Programming the ESPixelStick only requires a Micro-USB cable and the ESPixelStick firmware, which is open source and available on GitHub.
