An unexpectedly useful find for time blocking (aka time chunking)
I am trying a new time management process and am blocking out time in big chunks each day. My planner has very small spaces between hours of the day so I was wandering through amazon looking for something that would work. This appointment book for a hair salon (I assume) works perfectly. It's skinny so it's not a big 8x11 tablet to carry around, the time markers are really specific and easy to see, and there are 3 columns to work with each day (intended for 3 different stylists' schedules I imagine) so as I screw up my own plan and have to revise by 10 am I can do that right next to my original plan. It's a very sturdy book--not something you would carry in a purse--maybe in a briefcase or backpack, though. I just use it to envision my daily plan and then take a photo of it with my phone so I don't have to carry the book around. I really like it for my purposes, at least!
