Super useful and superb quality

Not as heavy as cast-iron, needed that. Does a great job as a stove top grill. And because it is cast aluminum instead of cast-iron, I will use it both as a grill pan and as a stove top simmer pan. With the lid on, I can braise a dish stove top instead of putting it in the oven. With cast-iron, you might be concerned about ruining the nonstick surface, if you used it that way, but with this you don’t have that problem. Those were my ideas when I bought it, and it’s working out well. Very well built, I expect it to last and last.

It would be nice if the handle is detachable so I can put it in the oven. The knob can be a little higher so that you don’t touch the glass lid when it’s hot. Lid can leak at the corners.
