I don't normally write negative reviews, however most musicians, recording artists, and small studios don't have a lot of money to throw around for equipment and every investment is precious, I fall into this category. I had a ton of hope that this microphone would have been a silver bullet. After 2 hours of use there was a wind tunnel sound. I tried to deal with the distributor directly. They suggested that I live in a humid climate and that it was causing the issue. My rh in my studio is 54% and honestly I found this troubling and unacceptable, and at the price point of $799 this microphone needs to be reliable. Luckily for me alton music the vendor refunded me with no issues and I didn't end up with and overpriced paperweight. One google search and you will find that many other people have the same issue with this microphone all getting a response that you live in a humid climate.
