Great pump!
I used this pump on several projects and works great so far. I power flushed my power steering system on a Ford F150 with this and it worked fantastic, just removed the return line going to my resivore and the hoses fit perfectly for this and the other hose into a bucket. It came with the hose kit and was a direct fit with the size I needed it for, this pump is surprisingly powerful and I power flushed my power steering system in less than 15 minutes with it. I also used it on my transmission on the F 150 too. I had a leaky bulkhead seal and I used this pump to drain most of the fluid in the transmission pan before removing it. It drained the pan in a matter of minutes which was probably about 5cquarts or so. I installed new o-rings on the bulkhead seal installed a new filter and trans pan gasket and pumped new trans fluid back into the transmission and it worked out great for me. The F150 trucks do not have a dipstick you can actually reach from under the hood like you used to any more,it's located under the vehicle and you can only refill or drain it by removing a cap that screws on and removing a mini dipstick from under the vehicle and worked great for pumping new fluid back into the transmission. So this pump was a great buy for this project and I'm really satisfied by it's performance. This product was well built and a fantastic buy! Noise level was not that bad either,it made some noise and it didn't bother me using it. I mentioned this just in case anyone was wondering about noise levels.

Amazing Amazon little fluid pump . Save time and $$. Well built !!
Works great. Quiet and fast transfer oil, fluid , or hydronic fluids. Works much faster than hand pump old way. Not as messy . Hook to any DC ( battery) 12v if possible and Watch the fluids transfer through clear tubing provided.. save yourself tons of time and money. Most people don't realize how important it is to change fluids in their vehicles besides oil.. Gear oil Transfer case Power steering fluid Brake fluid As well as many other uses besides automobile.. You can drain small pools, ponds , fish tanks ECT . As well as auto related stuff.. I love mine . I just hook it up to the car battery or a spare portable 12v power supply.... 👍👍👍 It's great hydrolic pump for cheap..

FIRST, THE GOOD NEWS . . .
First of all, once properly assembled, This pump really sucks ! Oil, that is. No need to jack up and crawl under the car. No need to remove the large, multi-bolted skid pan. No need to clean up spilled oil. That's the good news. Not so good is the flow rate; the description claims .5 quart / minute. So, a 5 quart oil change should take 10 minutes. Nope! More like 20 - 25 minutes; this with warm oil. But, still less time than jacking up the car, etc. And then, there is the elephant in the room: "PROPERLY ASSEMBLED" The kit comes with 6, 8, &10 mm hoses, an adapter to connect the 6 & 8 mm hoses and 2 nipples to screw into the pump body. BOTH NIPPLES ARE THE SAME SIZE, for 10mm hose. There is no way to connect the 8mm suction hose to a 10 mm nipple. Trust me, I tried. What I ended up doing was cutting about 6" off of the 10mm hose, spreading Duco Cement (glue) into the first inch or so at one end and then inserting an inch of the 8mm hose. Once the glue set up, I could attach the 8mm hose to the 10mm nipple. With another small hose clamp. This combination actually worked and performed flawlessly. Could have saved a lot of time and effort if the seller had only included both an 8mm & a 10 mm nipple to start with !!!

Cheap junk
Worked for about 7 minutes before the pump locked up. Pumped about 2 quarts of oil out of my drain pan before it quit. Originally bought it to use on my boat. It couldn't handle something simple like transferring oil from a drain pan to an old oil bottle.

Great product, better than expected
This product was better than expected. It's solid, not cheap at all, it has all the necessary adapter. I was a bit scared by those few negative comments but nothing like that happens to me. It's important to know, it's a pump and pumps don't like cavitation, must make sure the tube is immersed in the oil and until last 30 seconds it doesn't suck air but if you understand that it works very well. Also respect the insertion order, these is an arrow indicating the flow direction. It comes with two ingress tubes one 6mm and one 8mm and one outgoes tube. The product has good quality adapters to connect the tubes to the pump and (I was surprised) they seal well, not leak at all. Make sure the ingress tube is all the way into the pan, the two size are for cars and truck and they fit very sell. They are a bit on the short side but long enough. In about 5 minutes they will suck everything you have inside the engine. Open the oil cap so air will flow into the engine and replace the filter first so nothing will be left. Is really good, no risks going under the car etc. 5 minutes and it's done. Changing oil in your car will become a pleasure, I wonder why I didn't buy this before. This way you know that good new oil will be in your engine and not some cheap junk. Also I never experienced heating problem. Just make sure to avoid cavitation and this thing will work very well.

Reliable than expected
With it, 7qt oil change is a simple thing. It will overheat when working after 10 minutes.

Works very well. Quick and clean.
The new (to me) Range Rover that I just bought does not have an oil drain plug so some device of this type was required to do the oil changes at home. Many units come with an attached oil receiver, but the capacity was not high enough for the RR. I used this unit for the first time and used an old 5-gallon bucket as the receiver. It drained the oil sump in about 4-5 minutes. When I had replaced the oil, I had the empty oil jugs to use for disposal. I pumped the oil into the oil jugs and have the complete setup ready for the next change. I used the hard plastic line to remove the oil. The softer line collapsed under vacuum and resulted in very poor flow until I figured out the proper setup.
