Better than expected
So many potties out there which to choose? Ended up getting this one because of a sale price at the time, thinking I could get another if needed (like the ones that "look" more like real potties), but turns out this potty was amazing, and we ended up getting a 2nd one for a different room. The top to sit on is kind of a really firm soft feeling plastic, which I appreciate for our LO. Handles on the side give our LO something to hold onto if needed. Doesn't take up a huge amount of space but also plenty of space for LO to do business. Splash guard works. Very easy to clean (use liners!). Not easy to tip over. Started using at 2.5 years old. Works great and didn't even get to using the step stool yet which I'm sure will be useful at certain times in the future. We will take this if going to visit grandma for the weekend in a car trip. Otherwise we use the OXO tot portable potty for most other trips.

Lasts through all stages of potty training
Great toddler training toilet! Everything comes apart easy for cleaning. The base is sturdy and doesn't wiggle so toddlers feel more secure. The basin is durable; it has survived a 25lb toddler standing in it. The seat fits on a regular toilet which is perfect for transitioning toddlers over to the toilet because the seat feels familiar to them. The step stool is also a great feature and saves you from having to purchase another item. Overall, another great item by Frida Baby.

Great potty training potty
This is a great potty! Easy to use and empty! It’s got a comfy seat and is shaped well to prevent spills. It’s amazing with the liners they sell as well!

Great Travel Potty
Great travel potty for those who will use frequently. My son has a fear of public toilets so this gets used often when we are out. Cleaning out a standard travel potty bowl again and again and again got really old, really fast. Love that I can just cinch up the bag when he’s done and replace it with a new one. Only minor complaint is the top seat part does not secure to the potty tightly, it just sort of fits together. We have had a few incidents where he goes to sit on it and isn’t centered perfectly over the middle and then hits the edge and it comes apart. I also have gone to pick it up a few times and only trapped it by the top and it comes apart. It goes back together very easily though and we are back to business. Otherwise, we love this!

Okay, But Not Perfect
I’ve been using this since roughly October. My son is 5 and completely potty trained. But due to safety issues must now be locked in his room at night, thus depriving him of the facilities. I needed something that was a decent size given he’s tall. Something unlikely to tip, and that he could use without supervision. This was what best fit our needs. I do like that it can convert to a step stool down the line. I have a one year old and appreciate that he can use this at some point too. There are some real cons to this seat though. The design means urine tends to go down the little hole in the front. It’s annoying and messy. Urine collects inside and cleaning is more of a hassle due to the design with small spaces. Urine will often collect under the padded seat and the top part where the bucket sits. I will often get it on my hands when taking the bag out. It stains horribly as well. I appreciate the entire seat can be disassembled for cleaning. You will need a brush to do it, a sponge won’t be sufficient. But a simple wipe down isn’t going to be enough and even then, there will be discoloration and more. I don’t love that because it means it’s absorbing what comes in contact with it. I scrub with regular soap and water, and use bleach every so often. It serves its purpose. The price was in line with other brands. I’ve gotten near six months out of it and I’m sure I’ll get years more. It’ll be good and ugly by the end. But it is a toilet, not a display piece.

Didn’t like the lack of back support.
We initially bought it because of its dual functionality of being a potty and a high chair. It also looks very easy to clean and it’s a perfect size for our kid. The thing that didn’t work for us is that it didn’t have any back support unlike other ones we’ve have. If that matters to you, maybe try and look for something else instead.
