Excellent Value!
This jug is exactly what I've always needed! It holds a full US gallon of water plus ice, so I have access to ice-cold water all day at work, even when weather conditions make everything else around me scorching hot. Whenever I refill my travel cup from this jug, my water is freezing cold and as wonderfully refreshing as if I just got it out of the refrigerator. The jug itself is a little heavy compared to a regular cup, but it's high-quality stainless steel, so that's expected. It's very well constructed and can take a beating without losing functionality. I've read a few reviews that say it leaks, but that's not the case at all! Both the fill lid and pour cap screw on tightly. The only way this jug could leak is if you failed to close it properly. Since the jug is so big and heavy (it's metal and holds a GALLON), it's a bit awkward for me to carry for any extended distance. I purchased the carry bag separately (on Amazon), and that frees up my hands for other things when I haul my work stuff out to my truck. I don't think it would be practical for me to carry on a hike or other extended excursion though, unless I put it into a backpack or something that would balance the weight evenly. I'm not used to carrying that much weight in one hand or over one shoulder. Overall, I think this jug is an excellent value. It performs exactly as advertised and makes my life easier.

Pretty nice bottle for the price
I try to drink a lot of water throughout the day. I usually carry an uninsulated 64 oz. Kleen Kanteen with me to work every day and have no trouble emptying it. This wasn't enough, however, and I would get thirsty by the end of the day. I decided that I needed to drink a full gallon every day to ward off thirst and to account what I lose during exercise, etc. This jug was my solution. I waited until Prime Days and then searched for a gallon water jug. I tried to strike a balance between low price and good reviews. This jug was the most economical option that had consistently high reviews, and a lot of them mentioned how durable it was. OK, I'm sold. A lot of reviews mentioned the size. Yep, it's huge, and full of water it weighs about 12 lbs. according to another reviewer that actually weighed it. It takes both hands to drink out of this thing. For me, the size is the only thing that I'm on the fence about. I'm still trying to decide if carrying a full gallon is a better option than refilling my 2-quart Kleen Kanteen at work. It's certainly no fault of the jug-- a gallon-sized container is going to be bigger than a 2-quart container no matter what-- but it is a consideration if you have to lug this thing around. I certainly feel the weight and, while it's not a deal breaker for me, it's certainly something to consider. I'm trying to avoid abusing it, so far durability seems good. I toss it into my large rucksack with a Stanley steel lunchbox, and so far the powdercoated finish has zero scratches on it. I was leery of the handle being screwed into the plastic cap, but the whole thing feels very sturdy. I don't swing it like a kettlebell or anything, but the plastic cap seems to have no trouble standing up to the weight of this thing, which was my main concern. The cap seals tight. The jug is so large that I have to lay it sideways in my rucksack. Not a drop has leaked so far despite being jostled on its side while I ride my motorcycle, walk up and down stairs, etc. I haven't tried it with warm liquids, but it keeps water cool all day. I fill it with tap water in the morning and it stays about the same temperature. When summer comes, I'll fill it with ice water and see, but from other reviews I expect that the insulation will work just fine. One other thing: I fill mine in the sink because it doesn't fit in my refrigerator's water dispenser. That means I fill it with regular tap water instead of my fridge's cold, filtered water. The tap water in my area is pretty good (water quality reports from the local water company shows almost no detectable contaminants and the taste is fine) so I don't mind. However, if you want to fill yours with filtered water, you're either going to be standing at your fridge forever waiting for this thing to fill up, or you're going to want to invest in an auxiliary filter for your sink. I paid less than $35 for this jug when I bought it, and at that price the value is excellent. As of January 2025, it's hovering around the $40 mark, which is still a good price for a gallon jug of this quality. So far I'm very happy with mine. If there's anything to report in the future, I'll update this review.

Good quality
I like it... for reference I've had to for about a month. Obviously I didn't measure it but the wall of the thermose is probably about half an inch thick, so I imagine it holds temp well (I drink room temp stuff on purpose, so idk) It hasn't leaked, the lid quality is top notch among thermoses I've used, and overall its quite hardy. I work in a rougher environment and it hasn't even dented yet, and since its stainless steel it doesn't noticably scratch either. The grip is pretty great considering how big it is. its capacity is as expected, it stores enough water to last you the whole day. Lastly it certainly can house hot fluids, but keep in mind, its a BIG thermose, its going to be HARDER TO CLEAN. Being hard to clean is more of something to be expected but just keep that in mind when this is in consideration, but if you have the patience to clean this, then its probably the best thermose you are going to find if you are avoiding microplastics.

Very good thermos
I've had this thermos for about a year and a half. I use it every day on the job. It has collected a few small dents as well as a Milwaukee decal since I got it. The handle is very strong. The big mouth makes it very easy to reach your hand inside to clean it. Holds temperature very well. Very good buy.

Well-made, easy to clean, easier to use while staying hot and cold for hours!
I cannot rave enough about these bottles. I bought 4 of these. I needed to transport soup about 25 miles to my destination, a soup-making contest. I needed something that would keep the food hot and safe from spilling in my car. After searching for a reasonably priced solution on Amazon, I came across these. They worked out perfectly. The soup arrived as hot as it was when it was just off the stove. The soup poured safely, and when it was over, the bottles were all cleaned up perfectly with minimal effort. I am sure that you will thoroughly enjoy using these bottles for both hot and cold needs.

As advertised - great value for the money
Great gallon jug that is well made and very sturdy should be able to use for many years to come. The insulation has worked well and maintains the desired beverage temperature. I love the wide mouth opening, which is a plus to make it easy to clean.

Perfect temp and amount
Great price and size bottle, keeps liquid hot or cold for long periods of time and easy to clean. Would recommend the add rubber bumpers like the Handel on the 2 sides where the metal bar meets the bottle to prevent clinking and clunking noise but that’s superficial compared to the overall quality of the bottle.

Amazing product. Great price
It kept water hot for 2 days! 176° to start. 24 hours later the water was 124°. 48 hours later the temperature was 96° Temperature in our house was about 70°., I completely filled up the container, set an alarm kitchen counter. Obviously if it was in 40° temperatures, it would not keep the water as hot as it did at 70°. Nonetheless, this thing works amazingly well! I also conducted the same tesr by filling it 2/3 of the way up with ice. Four days later, there was still some ice floating in the water. My purpose for buying this was to maintain slightly hot water for a living in a cabin for a week that only had a wood-burning stove for heat. I had an improvised kitchen set up and really wanted to have low tech warmed hot water stored to use any time without having to heat it up on my propane stove. Before going to bed at night I would fill it up with fairly hot water and in the morning I had warm water, brush my teeth and wash up, etc. without having to heat it up. I used one of those 5 gallon water jug electric pumps that I mounted on an improvised countertop with a small round sink set into it. The set up worked like a charm!. I am an avid outdoors person, but I like to have as many creature comforts as possible. In the summer I can see using this as a way to store ice water. This thing is unbelievably well constructed. Extremely high-quality. It has a stainless steel vacuum bottle. I haven’t seen anything with vacuum bottles since the old fashion ones with the glass vacuum bottles that if you dropped it on the floor of the bottle with shatter. I could see possibly buying one or two more of these for all of my outdoor excursions. I often camp at primitive campsites that have no running water. Even in the summer I could see storing warm water in there for “showering“
