So the first thing to report is that if you are looking for an analytical sound, either because you yourself mix, or because you are the sort of person that wants to hear the music exactly as it is represented by the people who made it, then these may not be the headphones for you. These are not "flat" headphones, the frequency response is indeed curved. If you want something that gives you an as close to neutral sound as possible, get some Sennheisers or what not and enjoy the music that way. What these are, are very well made, very comfortable, easy to repair, lightweight, and most importantly FUN sounding headphones. These are honestly what I feel like most people who like Beats think Beats sound like. Yes they are bass heavy, but like most review you'll find they don't blow out every other instrument because of it. You can listen to classic rock, jazz, orchestral music, etc. on here and not feel (IMO) like you're missing much. But where it thrives are in the genres that have a lot of THUMP and you're going to feel it. And indeed, because of that, these also are EXCELLENT headphones for gaming. If you have a desktop microphone and are looking for a fun pair of headphones to play games with, the imaging on these and the low range THUMP are both good enough that you can use them somewhat competitively, but also have fun listening to all the carnage around you in most first person shooters especially. For those wondering what I have to compare this too, I actually do have two pair of headphones normally used by folks who want a more flat analytical sound. MDR-7506s, professional Sony mixing headphones that have excellent vocal clarity for the price but are a bit lacking in the fun department because of it (they're just not made for it honestly, but if you are watching a movie or podcast or something they're still real good cans), and ATH-M50x's, the classic Audio Technicas. While a bit bassy for their reference style, they're still not as THUMPy as these Mezes. And out of the three? I know which one I'll be keeping hooked up to my PC the most. the Technicas and the MDRs might go with me on casual walks or to work, but for when I just want to have fun jamming or gaming? These are excellent. Only problem I have with these out the box is if you are going to plug them into a PC, make sure to get their 3m 3.5mm chord. The one that comes with the Neo is a bit short for desktop use, so you'll be tethered pretty close to your PC if you don't.

I'm no audiophile, so I'll keep this short. I bought these twice, once as a gift, and once for myself. The ones I got for myself had a defect in the driver, and after contacting Meze, they sent me a replacement driver very quickly and it was simple as can be to replace it myself (only had to deal with screws, no solder). One of the best aspects of these is that they can be worked on and repaired without having to send them off somewhere to linger in a workshop for months before you get them back. I own a lot of headphones. Are these the best sounding headphones out there? No, but they do sound good and competently deliver audio, with a nice boost to the bass region without eating too much of the mids. That's mainly why I like them, for when I want to listen to something that benefits from some extra bass. I think they compete well in their price range for audio. Not the best, but very far from the worst. Where they are leaps and bounds above everyone else in their price category is the quality and build. They're very comfortable, but get a little too warm after a while (Meze needs to put out some different fabric earpads for these). They look and feel premium, and come with a great case that makes them perfect for travel.

These headphones are very nice. They're what I was looking for. What makes them great for me: 1) Closed-back, so I have good sound isolation. Not noise-canceling (I need to be able to hear a little bit, at least if someone is calling for me) but strong enough isolation to not be disturbed by the chaos. 2) Good audio that doesn't strongly favor a specific type of playback. I use headphones for games, movies, shows, music, etc. 3) Moderate price, as I can't be spending a ridiculous amount of money on headphones, even if I expect them to be durable. 4) Durability, since each piece of the unit is serviceable. Replacing anything is possible should it break. (And the parts themselves look to me to be strong off the bat. I note this because I had an ATH-40 set where the hinge just died—a common point of failure, apparently.) 5) Style, as they just look really nice. A lot of over-the-ear headphones look bulky and ridiculous. These are extremely elegant. 6) Comfort, since they are light and fit very well during extended usage. (I will note that I have central air, so my home doesn't get hot and thus the pad material is generally not a concern for me.) I have a few notes (all related to the cable), not worth docking a star for: 1) I would have liked a cord that was not plastic/rubber above the split. The bottom section of the cable is nice. The top is not as much. (I may end up replacing the cable with something else in time and I doubt I would choose to service that part with an original replacement.) 2) The interface (2 very slim jacks) on the earphones is moderately annoying as it limits the replacement cable options. It looks nice but it's unfortunately not super practical. 3) I can't tell if it's the mic or the connection through an adapter (phone has a usb-c port), but the recording pickup from the inline is poor for me. Not a real problem as using it with my phone is not a typical use-case. Overall I am quite pleased (and I got the set on slight sale, so even moreso) and absolutely recommend this product if your desires are sim ilar to those I outlined above.

Recu aujourd'hui donc ce sont les premières impression. Physiquement le casque est très beau, paradoxalement j'ai vraiment l'air stupide quand je le porte, j'ai la tête de Jacques Villeret de "la soupe aux choux". Contrairement à bon nombre d'avis, je ne le trouve pas si basseux que ça, le son est bon et agréable, mais je devrais probablement mieux le configurer pour en profiter davantage. Au passage qu'il soit branché sur le pc directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'une rallonge (3 pôles) ne fait apparemment aucune différence . Je trouve par contre que le son paraît un peu plus clair devant le pc que derrière. Pour ceux qui veulent le configurer avec realtek audio console, je recommanderais de désactiver "virtualisation du casque" (alors que mon autre casque a un meilleur rendu avec) CONFORT : Pour ma part, le casque est léger, confortable et ne s'enlève pas de la tête quand je la penche (contrairement à d'autres), par contre l'isolation me paraît bien moindre. Enfin, concernant la microphonie, il est vrai que les arceaux s'entendent quand ils frottent, CEPENDANT, je ne les entends pas du tout lorsque j'écoute une vidéo ou de la musique, donc la microphonie est un inconvénient négligeable. Conclusion : Les premières impressions sont bonnes, reste bien évidemment ce qu'il en sera sur la durée.

・これまでの状況 この商品購入前はRazerクラーケンを使っており、主にff14や音楽映画鑑賞用でヘッドセットを使用していました。音質などは問題なかったのですが、ヘッドセットの締め付けにより、耳周りがが痛くなることに悩まされており、着け心地のよいヘッドセットを探していました。 ・購入後使用感 悩まされていた耳の痛みですが、この商品は締め付けがちょうどよい程度で、耳にフィットします。これまで、30分もつけていたら痛かったものが、最長2時間付けましたが痛くなりませんでした。2時間以上は検証していませんが、軽く着け心地もよく満足しています。 一方、音質はこれまでクラーケンを使用していてきれいな音に満足していましたが、この商品の音質は横の広がりを感じるもので、包まれているような感覚を覚えます。 また、低音に関しても、十分な重低音が響き粒もしっかりしている。余韻もあり重厚感ある低音域です。 ・注意事項 私の使用環境はPC接続がメインで使用していました。しかしながら、私が確認していなかったのが問題なのですが、ジャックがピンタイプで付属の分岐がPCに合わずマイク機能が使えません。（PC全面フロントのサウンド、マイクジャックの幅が合わない。） 分岐で使用するステレオミニプラグケーブルが別途必要でした。 PC環境によるところですが、今後PC接続を考えている方の参考になればと思いレビューさせていただきました。 商品自体は購入して正解。私はマイクが使えず残念だったので、これから購入される方はご注意ください。

Os contaré mi experiencia de cómo y porqué llegué a escoger estos auriculares, los Meze 99, y cuál es mi opinión sobre ellos, porque personalmente a la hora de gastarme esta cantidad de dinero me gusta estar lo más seguro que puedo de mi compra y las opiniones detalladas me son de gran ayuda a la hora de decidir, aunque la mayoría de las que leí se centraban casi únicamente en la calidad de sonido y creo que hay otros aspectos importantes a la hora de escoger unos auriculares que te tienen que durar mucho tiempo. Así que procuraré no dejarme nada y ser totalmente sincero. Antes que nada, al comprar unos auriculares hay que tener muy claro el uso que les vas a dar y el presupuesto del que dispones. También evaluar si los quieres con cable o bluetooth (se dice que con el bluetooth pierden información de sonido). En mi caso buscaba unos auriculares que me permitieran disfrutar de una experiencia inmersiva, pues los usaría principalmente en el autobús. Por este motivo me decanté por unos de diadema circumaurales (los que envuelven toda la oreja. Existen también los intraurales, que son los pequeños que te metes dentro del oído, y los supraurales, que son de diadema pero no cubren toda la oreja), pues suelen dar más calidad de sonido y me parecen más cómodos. Mi presupuesto era de 200 euros aprox. como máximo. En casa tengo unos Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro que utilizo para edición de audio. Estos dan una calidad de sonido excelente y neutro y cumplen su función a la perfección dentro del estudio, pero necesitaba ahora unos cascos versátiles y de uso más lúdico, no para editar sino para disfrutar de música de distintos géneros en cualquier parte, y los Beyerdynamic no eran recomendables para llevar a la calle por varios motivos: •Tienen una impedancia muy alta (si desconoces qué es la impedancia, vale la pena informarse) de 250ohms, y por lo tanto a la hora de escuchar música desde el móvil se oye muy flojo; necesitan ser conectados a la tarjeta de sonido que tengo en casa (existen también amplificadores portátiles) para sacarle todo su potencial. Por lo tanto necesitaba unos con una impedancia baja. •Son auriculares semi-abiertos, es decir, no aíslan el sonido exterior. En mi caso eso es una pega por que en el bus molestas a los otros pasajeros. Del mismo modo también oyes al bebé llorón del asiento delantero. Por lo tanto necesitaba unos de cerrados (que también me servirían a la hora de grabar voces). •Tienen un cable exageradamente largo, pues están pensados para utilizar en estudio, pero fuera de él es un contra pues necesitas algo portable y práctico. Por lo tanto necesitaba unos con cable ligero y extraíble. Además, hay otros aspectos a tener en cuenta que, después de mirar diversas listas de mejores cascos, no he visto. Estos aspectos son: •Que se puedan quitar las almohadillas, pues al cabo de un tiempo se ensucian y hay que lavarlas. •Que el cable sea de quita y pon, para reemplazarlo si se rompe o poder intercambiarlo por otro más largo o corto según te convenga. •Que sean ergonómicos para podértelos poner en el cuello. •Que tengan una buena funda para que no se rompan en el transporte del uso diario. Otras características que para mí también son importantes son el diseño y los materiales de construcción. Como es lógico es muy difícil encontrar unos cascos que cumplan tantos requisitos. Aún así, hice una búsqueda intensiva durante varios días, y me decidí por los Audio Technica M50x (que también tienen la versión en bluetooth), del que leí innumerables reseñas positivas. Así que fui a probarlos a mi tienda habitual y me sorprendió lo increíblemente malos que eran: incómodos, se escuchaban de pena, (además de bastante feos y construídos enteramente en plástico, cosas que ya sabía pero podia sacrificar en pro de lo otro que supuestamente tenía). Así que me puse de nuevo a buscar y a leer opiniones y encontré unos auriculares que me atrajeron de entrada por su particular diseño: los Meze 99. Vi también que se podía quitar el cable (algo de lo que disponen muy pocos modelos), que tenían una impedancia asombrosamente baja (26ohms) y aunque eran de una marca hasta entonces desconocida para mí, había muy buenas reseñas. Me gustaron mucho pues era el único modelo que cumplía con todo lo que buscaba, pero no lo tenían en mi tienda de confianza así que me arriesgué y los compré sin probarlos previamente. Aunque los Classic me flipan, al final me quedé con el Neo por ser 100 euros más barato y también es atractivo (lo compré en enero 2021 por 200 euros). Escribo todo esto pues, después de un mes de haberlos adquirido y probado regularmente. He de confesar que me han sorprendido gratamente. Mis espectativas ya eran altas, pero al abrir su cuidada caja, ver su elegante funda rígida y descubrir unos cascos que se ven fantásticos (están tremendos y se palpa calidad cuando los sostienes) con sus acabados metálicos, me quedé realmente sorprendido. Además del cable y la funda, incluye un adaptador jack. Su calidad de sonido es buena si la comparo con los Beyerdynamic, que son una bestia. No soy un entendido en la materia pero no creo que exageren ninguna frecuencia; estan bastante equilibrados. Destaco que, como otros cascos cerrados que he probado, al cabo de una hora larga de escucha, tienes que quitártelos un rato pues te empiezan a molestar las orejas. También quiero comentar que me los enviaron en su caja original, sin ningún otro envoltorio que la cubriera, y se podrían haber dañado fácilmente durante el transporte, cosa que por suerte no pasó. No se si esto es cosa de amazon, del propio fabricante o de la compañia de reparto. En caso de que le encontrara pegas en un futuro reeditaría esta reseña, pero se los ve resistentes, un objeto al que probablemente le cogeré cariño y me acompañará durante muchos años.

Very very comfortable and the sound is superb. For the people who say that they sound thin or that something is missing i would recommend turning the volume up and getting a cheap amp (i use a hipdac2) cos whilst they are very easy to drive they sound a different beast with a half decent source and amp (YT music with dongle on phone sounds great but Amazon music through hipdac2 at my desk is a different beast). Excellent build quality and i love the fact that they are easy to repair / get access to if needed. Combined with the case they are great value - i used them for gaming as well - the inline mic isnt great but works enough to shout at people on Forza. Only downside is the sockets for the cables on the side of the earcups are narrow which means my other cables (ie my balanced cable dosn't quite fit in despite being the correct plug size)
