Gross Me Out Mad Libs: World's Greatest Word Game Review: Hilariously and Perfectly Gross For Kids! - I bought Gross Me Out Mad Libs as a holiday gift for my 10-year-old nephew, and it was an instant hit and smashing success! He was "LOL-ing" within minutes of opening it, which added to the fun, cheer, festivity, and happiness of our family holiday gathering. The stories are silly, absurd, wild, wacky, wonky, weird, and just gross enough to appeal to kids this age without containing anything inappropriate. This activity is a great way to get kids reading, thinking creatively, and practicing parts of speech without it feeling “educational" and like schoolwork. My nephew especially loved filling out these stories with friends and then reading the ridiculous results out loud. The book is well made, easy to follow, and filled with enough stories to keep them entertained for a long time. If you’re shopping for a kid who loves putrid potty humor, silly syntax, or wacky word games, this is a perfect gift for them. This item is highly recommended for ages 8–12 and is great for road trips, family gatherings, or quiet time that unsurprisingly doesn't stay very quiet at all. Review: Super fun theme - Super fun one!! Kids had a blast with this one over Christmas. Fun theme for 7-9 year old

Silly Stories
Loved these as a kid. Purchased for my grandchildren. A lot of fun and I think it helps them with understanding nouns, verbs, etc.

So Much Fun For Everyone 😁
Have you ever played "Mad Libs"? Well I have for many years. We first tried Mad Libs when we grabbed a copy on a vacation trip heading back to Ohio from North Carolina many years ago. My young nephew and my sister and I hoped it would make the trip go faster. We tried a page and two people generally play, the reader and the person who answers the questions "blindly". They are asked for a random adjective, pronoun, etc., to fill in the blanks of a story in which they know nothing about. Then, when all of the blanks are filled, the story is read back, using the words the clueless person had suggested. It's an actual "story" and when the various answers are read, they simply sound ridiculous. Sounds so simple, right? Well, we all played for a couple of hours, laughing so hard we almost had to make extra bathroom breaks. Our family was hooked! When we reached my house, my daughter wanted to play. Again, it was hysterical fun, and my daughter, who is now in her late thirties with kids of her own carried on with the "tradition ". Her children, who are big computer gamers, will actually stop when the Mad Libs come out. Each "book" has a wide variety of stories, so it never gets old. Some stories are actual history lessons. It's also a great vocabulary lesson for the kids, but they don't care..or don't realize it, LOL. There are new Mad Libs coming out even to this day! I gave a few out for Christmas by request! The game can be played on holidays as families get together, car trips FOR SURE, or just you and one other player...each taking turns answering the questions or reading them. Any age can play this game and enjoy it, so grandpa and the younger children can all play. I guarantee lots of loud laughter will be heard in the other rooms. Frankly, I hate board games and practically any game, but I WILL play this. When my daughter was in college, she could even get a group together and play. Buy a book and you may just start a tradition in your family, too! ♡♡♡♡♡ Have fun!

Absolutely! Here’s a funny and lighthearted review for Gross Me Out Mad Libs — perfect for entertaining kids on a road trip: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Are We There Yet?” has officially been replaced by “Can I say booger again?” I bought Gross Me Out Mad Libs for a family road trip, thinking it would buy me 10 minutes of peace. What I didn’t realize is that I was unleashing a tornado of fart jokes, snot references, and contagious giggling from the backseat that lasted the entire 3-hour drive. My kids (ages 7 and 10) were howling with laughter—like, wheezing-until-they-can’t-breathe laughter—over sentences like: “My smelly grandma launched a burp into outer space using a moldy sock rocket.” Is it educational? Sort of. Is it disgusting? Definitely. Will your kids love it more than screen time? Shockingly, yes. Will you hear the word “diarrhea” 47 times in an hour? Also yes. ✅ Pros: • Perfect road trip boredom buster • Encourages reading, vocabulary… and emotional maturity? (Nah.) • Fits easily in the glove compartment • Doubles as a parenting sanity-saver ❌ Cons: • You may never eat pudding again without flinching • Your child might try to use “butt volcano” in school assignments ⸻ Final verdict: Buy it. Embrace the chaos. And maybe pack earplugs — for your own survival.
