## Description

A knife that’s dressed for success. At first glance, it could be mistaken for a pen tucked into a shirt pocket. And that’s exactly the way the CEO Flipper folding knife was designed. With a supremely low profile and no corners cut on usability and ergonomics, it embodies the working spirit of everyday carry.Known for his clean, simple, highly-usable designs, Richard Rogers releases another formidable knife from his shop in the scrubby hills of Magdalena, New Mexico. Created with dress shirt pockets and v-neck scrubs in mind, the slim, low-profile CEO Flipper poses as a pen until a sealed letter needs opening or a suit needs a finishing touch. With lubed ball bearings in the pivot to reduce friction, a prominent flipper sets IKBS in motion, smoothly deploying the satin-finished stainless steel blade. A locking liner keeps it securely in place between the sleek and strong glass-reinforced nylon handle. The CEO: pairs best with an extra dark roast and a long to-do list.Specifications:Blade Length: 3.35" (85.14 mm)Edge: PlainSteel: AUS 8Blade Finish: EDPBlade Thickness: 0.09" (2.29 mm)Grind: FlatClosed Length: 4.35" (110.39 mm)Open Length: 7.69" (195.28 mm)Weight: 1.9 oz (53.86g)Handle: Glass reinforced nylonStyle: Folding Knife with Liner Lock

Review: Excellent - Nice gentleman’s knife.
Review: Slim and sharp. - A very sleek profile, just what I wanted. Being LH I appreciate the reversible clip. Other manufacturers--providing similar but lower priced knives here on desertcart--might make better use of this. The opening is stiff only until you do it right. While flip knives from Kershaw, etc, open at a flick of the lever this one responds to more of a downward sliding motion over the lever. It's got jimping to supply sufficient friction. As far as the comment by another user claiming that two handed opening isn't an option... a slight press on the lever will pop the blade open just enough that one can manually open the blade to attain less "aggressive" deployment. The clip is minimal which is nice as it makes it less noticeable. It doesn't seem to affect a secure place in pocket but I'll update if that changes. Slight concern with the small liner lock but I don't plan on stabbing car doors and I think it will be sufficient as it holds fine to a firm spine whack test. The blade has very slight horizontal wiggle when open--much less than I feared it would from the design. This might be made even less with a slight tightening but I haven't tried that as I'm happy with how it is. Overall a good value and, again, just what I was looking for. Were it $100 knife I'd give it 4 stars. At half that I give it 5.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Slim, Sharp, and Easy to Carry — A Great “Gentleman’s Knife”
*by M***T on 26 May 2026*

This is a really solid everyday carry knife, especially if you want something that carries slimmer and looks a little more refined than a bulky tactical folder. The CRKT CEO disappears in a pocket and almost carries more like a pen than a knife, which makes it great for office carry, church, date nights, or anywhere you don’t want a giant “look at my knife” setup. The AUS-8 blade steel takes a good edge fairly easily and has been perfectly adequate for normal EDC tasks like opening boxes, cutting packaging, trimming things, and light utility work. The blade shape is practical, sharp, and precise for smaller cutting jobs. The knife feels surprisingly lightweight, opens smoothly, and the liner lock has worked reliably. Build quality is good for the price point, and it looks cleaner and more professional than a lot of chunky EDC knives. A couple honest tradeoffs: because it’s so slim, this is not a hard-use work knife. If you’re prying, beating on things, or doing heavier shop or outdoor work, there are better options. The narrow handle also isn’t as comfortable for prolonged cutting as a larger knife. But for what it’s designed to be — a slim, classy, easy-to-carry everyday knife — it does the job really well.
