They are corrosion resistant and ensure easy installation. Review: No More Pedal Thump - Perfect fit for the front of a 1999-2004 Jeep WJ (Grand Cherokee). It doesn't matter if you have the ATE/Teves calipers or the Akebono calipers. They both take the same rotor. No troubles during installation. Installed in May of 2021, and it's now June of 2024 as I type this. Still no pedal thump (pulsation). Still nice and smooth and quiet. I paired a set of these rotors with Raybestos's-s-s SGD790M Service Grade Semi-Metallic Disc Brake Pad Set. They've been silent and trouble free for several years now, which tells me that they are likely dampened, or fluxed, during manufacturing process producing what is called dampened steel. If your brakes sing like a song-bird when you stop, your rotors are not made of dampened steel. So its a nice feature of the material/manufacturing process that I didn't expect at a budget-to-mid-tier level. Super happy with this product line from the Raybestos brand.
