Review: Product works and the email product support was excellent. - Three weeks in -----Nice package and tool kit. Initial set up went ok. My first candidates were 1" copper type L pipes on a hot water return circulation loop. I used vaseline. The readings were weird - very low, zero and then they went negative and then positive. My M90 signal strength was not very good. I then got a 'Signal Reverse Error' and an error 0400 and it stopped reading. So I ordered some proper ultrasonic gel; no help. In the interim we replaced the pump (it was old) and when i broke it down we discovered the impeller had no blades on it - hence the negative readings. I sent the vendor all the info and some pix and they got back to me overnight - had me reset to original factory specs and I set everything up again and this time I used the proper gel - they said alway reapply anytime you move it. Worked perfectly. I still get the 'Signal Reverse Error' sometimes if I leave the sensors in place too long on a hot pipe - it dries up. So i add another dab and it works fine again. So far very happy with it.

**Q: I am not seeing all parameters (including one to set the fluid type) and am also not able to do a factor reset.  Need password or way to unlock?**
A: M20 Window is for selecting fluid type.
It is simple to enter the menu, you only need to press the MENU button, and then enter the number to enter the corresponding window. Press ENTER button to modify.

**Q: Will this provide Peak flow rate data? I'm trying to consider this as tool to size water treatment equipment and peak flow rate is required?**
A: Hi, this product can only provide a series of data and one data at a time. And all of data should be recorded manually.

**Q: What straight run requirements does this meter need?  How many pipe diameters of straight pipe do I need upstream and downstream of the sensors?**
A: The tested pipeline needs to be a dense medium that can transmit ultrasonic waves, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, copper pipe, PVC, FRP, PPR, etc. After you input outer circumference (M10) or input pipe diameter (M11), wall thickness (M12), installation method (M24), and then automatically calculate the transducers spacing(M25).

**Q: Can I use it with carbon or stainless steel? or Do I need other sensors?**
A: Yes, it can use with carbon or stainless steel, and the ultrasonic flowmeter come with S1+M2 transducers, and the measuring range is DN15-700mm (1/2-28") .

Es el segundo equipo que tenemos, ha funcionado el primero perfectamente, se pudo calibrar con ISO 17025, es eficaz y hasta ahora no me ha fallado, lo rcomiendo sin dudar. Lo unico que debo probar es el programa para bajar los datos ya que el primero no pude instalarlo por algun tema de persmisos en mi computadora, este segundo viene con USB, voy a tratar de instalarlo en cuanto lo use. Seria bueno tener un case o protector para el equipo.
