Bible Overview: Know Themes, Facts, and Key Verses at a Glance

This is fairly short and basic - but it's a good overall summary of each of the Books. Before I read a Book, I scan this to get a feel for who wrote it, when they wrote it, the general concept of what I'm about to read and a key verse to keep in mind. It's a pamphlet, so don't look for something long and in-depth. But I do recommend it as a really (really!) short "Cliff's Notes" of the Book.

This is one of my favorite tools for a Bible study. Easy to read and store.

I am studying the book ‘Search the Scriptures’ which is a three year study of the Bible. This book ‘Overview of the Bible’ helped me to get a quick summary of the Bible. Now I am going to read the next ‘Overview of the Bible’ which gives a little more detail then this book-a summary of each book in 143 characters. Then I will read the third‘Overview’ book which is a summary- book by book, chapter by chapter’. These three books will help me connect to the Bible as I continue to do my three year study. If you are a first time Bible reader you will love the ‘Overview of the Bible series’.

I like the concept. I’m disappointed that I didn’t pay attention to the translation version of scripture. When it does use key scriptures in the pamphlet, it does not use the King James translation. The true inspired Word of Truth.

I love the pamphlet my reason it will help me in my notetaking for Bible Study, Vacation Bible School, & Sunday School Lessons. I think every bible believing beginner needs this pamphlet because it'll help them tremendously. It gives both Old & New Testament: Name of the Book of the Bible, Who-Author of the Book, What- Type of writing, Where- place / location, When-Time, Why was it written/ Outline-Topics & Chapters, lastly Key Verse.

Rose Publishing did a fabulous job with this glossy pamphlet and quick overview!! The durability of the glossed paper makes it a resource I will have around for years. The content gives me just what I am looking for: Who wrote it? When? Why? and What is the key verse to consider? I am a fan!

Very clear and well laid out - would be perfect to put on the wall...but, it is double-sided, so you would need two to show both the old and new testament if hanging it up.
