Im changing from 2 stars to 5! Must Replace Product After Only 200 Minutes of Use!
I have had this bike tail light for one year now. Even though I use my bike and the light seldom, the battery on the light lasts a very long time, which is great, because it does not detach from the bike easily and therefore, in order for me to charge it, I must either unscrew it to remove from bike or take my charging cable with extension cord to the bike and device. I have only had to charge it 3 times in one year, awesome, except on the third time it would not recharge. I have used it approximately 200 minutes in total over the course of 1 year and it already needs replacing. I keep my bike indoors at all times it’s not in use. Pros: works great, easy installation, sturdy parts, bright lights, great functions, works seamless with blinker, maintains a very long charge. Cons: The devices battery only works for approximately 200 minutes, leaving the product useless, charging is not as easy as it should be, device is quite expensive for the limited time it works. I have contacted the manufacturer with this issue and will update this review with the outcome. My recommendation: Prior to knowing how the manufacturer resolves the issue: waste of money, buy a more reputable brand. After the manufacturer attempts to remedy the issue: TBC. 2/27/2024 - UPDATE So, I never heard from the manufacturer, which is disappointing. However, it turns out it was operator error! I decided to try and charge it with a different cable, one that wasn’t as powerful, and it works! It charged and it works great just like it did before so I’m changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. Based on the fact that customer service never responded, I could easily remove one star, but considering there was no problem to begin with, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. This is a a great product! And, a life saver, if you’re a night rider, like me.

Fantastic light!
It is truly amazing how well this light works, I placed on my electric motorcycle to make it street legal. I bought two, the one for the front of the motorcycle needs to place on upside down otherwise it will not be matched to the one on the rear for the turn signals.

Using remote, you don't know what its doing
So, I am pretty pleased with this. I like the various modes of operation, the "brake light" effect, turn signals, horn and alarm. Battery life seems great - haven't recharged it yet and have used it for several rides over several weeks. I'm hoping I'll know when the battery needs charging before it goes out. But I do think it could be better. If I could change it, here' what I'd suggest: 1) I think its great to include the "Emergency Flasher" mode of operation, but this is selected by scrolling through the different modes of tail-light operation. While riding, you have no idea what mode of operation the tail light is in so unless you stop, get off your bike and look, there is no way to use this mode. The solution is rather obvious - this isn't even a mode of the tail-light - it is a mode of the turn signals, so activate it by pressing both turn signals buttons together and indicate it is on by alternating the 2 different turn signals sounds. Turn it off the same way. 2) as noted above, there is no way to know which mode of operation the light is in - or if it is on at all. Including a sound when the mode is switched seems easy. Even if just a beep when it turns on the first mode would provide some clue. 3) The "Automatic Mode" should be separately selected from the light mode. I like that it turns off after a while so I don't forget to turn it off. Though I worry it might be turning off while I am riding and I want my light on at all times - not just after dark. 4) I notice the remote has an unused "front light" button. Is there a front headlight that can be controlled by this? That would make a nice pair. I would especially like this if that front light included turn signals as well since I am finding I still need to use my hand signals for the oncoming traffic.

really good tail light, it knows when your braking, the turn signals are nice, and the horn and alarm are pretty loud too.

A Year Later And Still Works Great!
Bought two of these. One for myself and one for the wife's bike, both Giant bikes converted to electric. We ride pretty much every single Saturday all day during every warm month in the midwest, and I ride alone several evenings a week. It's been almost a year now and they are still fully functioning and working great!! Both still charge rather quickly, and we still haven't had to change out the FOB batteries. Was riding on a 30 mile bike path last night through the country at midnight. I could hear a deer grunting near the path so I honked the built in horn and heard them run away! There have been a couple times we stopped on cycling greenways and other people asked about them because they saw the turn signals functioning. They are usually impressed to see they also have a horn and built in motion alarm and that the remote comes off. If I had any complaints it would be that the remote FOBs are hard to get on and off and I'm always extra careful by holding the mounting bracket tight so it doesn't snap off the handlebars. No longer skeptical about them and they have been a great addition to our riding equipment.

This is a good turn signal light, but too much of a hassle.
This works as intended and is a really neat device. I do like it, but it's too gimmicky and overkill for a bike ride. The horn is loud and obnoxious. I have the oval remote and I accidently hit the horn button instead of the turn signal buttons because the buttons are too close together and small. Maybe the square remote is better idk. I wouldn't use the horn to let people know you are approaching though. The horn will scare and annoy people instead of just alerting them in a nicer way like a regular bike bell. The main reason I'm returning it is because I don't want to keep being embarrassed for accidently hitting the horn or alarm button. It's too distracting and dangerous trying to make sure you hit the right buttons when commuting. It's easier to just strap on a regular blinking red light and throw up hand signals instead of fidgeting with this thing while biking. Also forget putting the remote in your pocket because it's just going to hit the horn or alarm button unless you lock the remote. But that's a pain to do. It's also a pain to change any of the lights settings because of the weird button combinations that are hard to memorize and the thing beeps loudly whenever you try to change settings. The light turns itself off automatically even when using the turn signals which is dumb. I was sitting at a stop light waiting for the left turn green light and this thing turned off.. The brake lights on this thing is cool though so I will miss that. The auto on/off setting is cool to save battery, but bad if you like to use the slow flashing or breathing mode and need to leave the light on during day commutes. Suggestions: 1. Make the remote buttons easier to press. It's too easy to hit the horn button accidently when wanting to use turn signals. 2. The mount for the remote should be bigger to fit the bike stem or frame incase you don't want it on your handlebars. 3. There needs to be more mounting options for people who have rear racks on their bike or can't attach it to their seat post. 4. Make the horn more pleasant and let us change the volume of it. 5. Make it easier to change settings, it's too confusing and hard to memorize the button combinations and how long to hold each button just to adjust some settings. 6. Let us turn off auto on/off mode. I need the bike light to always be on during the day and I like to use the slow flashing or breathing modes, but after a while the light will auto shut off.. Where I'm at it's illegal to ride a bike without a rear light so this is not a good feature. 7. Don't allow the light to turn off when using the turn signals. This light turns itself off after a few minutes while I'm waiting at a left turn with the blinker on.
