Review: Quality shell, great kit, screwdrivers could be better, and the instructional video is superb. - The shell itself is high quality, looks good and feels good. The screwdrivers which came with it weren’t amazing, but at least they added them, and the screen protector is good, but I did it wrong which is on my part as I got dust under it… What I really wanna highlight is the absolutely brilliant instructional video. So simple, to the point and no waffle, there could have been no text and I’d still understand it. Great product. 10/10!
Review: Looks great and fun to install! - I opted for Atomic Purple and it looks great once installed, I love the retro vibe. My switch was teal coloured and I opted not to use the screen protector that comes with the shell, out of everything I struggled the most with the protector so just ditched it in the end! The teal rim of my screen actually looks decent with the purple shell, grey would have worked better but I don’t regret not bothering with the protector. Obviously this takes some time and effort to install. I spent roughly 4 hours doing this but I actually enjoyed the challenge. I only had an issue with the ZR and ZL buttons post installation but it was because i’d put the rubber button press inside the switch the wrong way round, once I corrected that it worked like a charm. There are plenty of tutorials online on how to do this, as long as you find a good one you’ll probably manage just fine. I used the tutorial by Erica Griffin on youtube, as she narrates what she’s doing I found this to be better than the tutorial by extremeRate themselves.

The shell itself is high quality, looks good and feels good. The screwdrivers which came with it weren’t amazing, but at least they added them, and the screen protector is good, but I did it wrong which is on my part as I got dust under it… What I really wanna highlight is the absolutely brilliant instructional video. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Into customisation?

This is a brilliant product for customising, changing or even replacing your Switch Lites case. It’s sturdy, well made and very pleasant to look at once completed. Something I’m sure all of you want in this style of product. However I do have two issues with this product. Neither relating to the case itself mind you. 1st - The screwdrivers supplied with the product broke on me and made on of my Tri Wing screws damaged. Meaning my original switch case is simply unusable and I’m now left with the case I ordered. I’m not sure if this is a common issue or if I simply got unlucky but the Tri Wing screwdriver supplied with my case broke immediately rendering it pointless. So I ordered some more to change my case around. 2nd - Note that this product is designed to be used by experienced consumers. And if you are new to customising I strongly recommend you watch a video before, during and after purchasing. As taking any Switch apart is a daunting task for a new person. But aside from that. This product is amazing! Strongly recommend
