Wish I found this sooner
The RED WOLF Wiring Harness Tape is an excellent choice for anyone looking to protect and organize automotive wiring while also reducing noise and vibration. Here's a detailed breakdown of its performance: Quality and Durability The tape is made of high-quality fabric with strong heat resistance. It holds up well under high temperatures and does not peel or degrade over time, making it perfect for automotive engine harnesses and other high-heat environments. The fabric material also resists abrasion, ensuring long-lasting protection for your cables. Ease of Use The self-adhesive backing is easy to work with, offering a firm grip that stays secure without leaving a sticky residue. It’s flexible and easy to wrap around cables and harnesses, even in tight or awkward spaces. The 3/4-inch width is ideal for precision work, and the 50-foot length per roll provides plenty of material for most projects. Noise Damping Performance One of the standout features is its noise-damping capability. When applied to wiring harnesses, it effectively reduces rattling and vibrations, resulting in a quieter and smoother ride in vehicles. This feature makes it a favorite for automotive applications. Value for Money The pack includes five rolls, which is excellent value for the price. The generous amount of tape means you’ll have enough for multiple projects, whether for automotive wiring, home electrical systems, or DIY projects. Potential Downsides While the adhesive works well in most conditions, it may lose a bit of grip if exposed to excessive grease or oil. It’s best to clean the application surface thoroughly for optimal adhesion. Overall Rating 4.8/5 The RED WOLF Wiring Harness Tape delivers on its promises of protection, durability, and noise reduction. Its heat-resistant fabric construction and user-friendly design make it an essential tool for automotive enthusiasts and electricians. The pack of five rolls is a great value, ensuring you’re well-equipped for various applications. Highly recommended!

Good tape for wiring harness.
Good quality tape that has little stretch and and good stickiness. The fabric tape is not too thick and I was able to wrap my truck wiring harness, so it functions well or its intended purpose. I feel like this is a good value, especially as compared to the more expensive premium brand.

Good electrical harness tape.
First impression is that this is good quality tape for electrical work on Jeep that looks professional and matches OEM wiring. Used it to add a camera lead to spare tire stop light harness. Worked perfectly.

Seems good!
I have an electronic back ground and always had a dislike of the standard vinyl types of electrical tape. Even car manufacturers are getting away from that type of tape. I have a similar tape on a newer automobile and tried this tape. It comes off the roll good once you get it started and you can tear it by hand, decent thickness and seems to adhere good. I'd give 5 star if it holds up to the elements but only time will tell that one.

Wire wrap
I love this product. Good quality and looks like original wrapping on my 1946 ford wiring. Plenty of wrap to cover a lot of wiring

Great fabric tape that protects wires well.
Great fabric tape that protects wires well. The fuzzy outer layer prevents rubbing wear and noise. Installation is easy as you can rip the tape with your hands. It’s sticky enough yo stay in place but also allows for easy removal. For the price I really like this design over standard rubber electrical tape.

Nice
Nice stuff! Tears off easy from the roll. Would like to see it water proof.

This is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Many people complain it's not very sticky, that's precisely the point of this product. I had a burnt wire in our 79 Chevy Van, after unwrapping and chasing the wire I wanted something that wouldn't shrink and get slimy and sticky like electric tape. This looks like a factory wrap and has enough stick to not slide around, but not leave glue residue everywhere. In my opinion it worked perfectly.

I am rewiring a 1952 Ford Pickup truck. This tape works great but, t doesn't look quite like the original tape. It is a fabric material while the original tape is similar to a vinyl tape. It can stretch as you wind it down into place and sticks to itself and the wires alright. It is easy to back up a bit to reposition it and remove wrinkles.

Does a great job of tidying up the wiring loom on my project car.

I was dubious of it’s adhesion properties when I’d first started the roll, but after looming my entire dash harness, I am thrilled. Way nicer to work with than electrical tape when you’re organizing wiring branches. It sticks to itself incredibly well despite not feeling all that sticky to the touch. Doesn’t leave any gross residue behind if you need to peel it back either. As someone else had mentioned - it is a cloth tape - so I’m not sure I’d love to use it in an engine bay or anywhere that might get dusty. But for automotive interiors it’s absolutely perfect. One roll did virtually an entire dash harness out of an 80’s Japanese car. 5 rolls is plenty, and super handy to have spares around if you’re constantly tinkering. Price is also reasonable.
