Surprisingly high quality for a costume. The event I bout it for was canceled but this was so nice I decided to keep it. The fabric is a nice heavy weight and the corset ties allow for shaping.

Well sewn. Hangs nicely. Heavy material. I don't freeze to death.

I bought this dress for halloween and I'm impressed with the quality. The material is heavy and fits nicely. I bought a size small, and I'm 5'2 and 143lbs. It was a little long and I kept stepping on it. I sewed a red ribbon on the bottom of the side so I could pick up my dress as I walked. The strings on the bodice are super long so I purchased red ribbon and used that instead.

I bought this & another dress the same day. Other dress arrived first was so cheap, thin & unimpressive, I felt this dress would be the same as my other gowns were purchased outside of Amazon & much better quality. This dress has heft, attention to detail & quality. I do have to knock of a star for the cheap, ugly rope detail but that can be easily swapped for a satin ribbon.

This costume has a really nice elegant look to it. It fits really well and falls perfectly to the floor for me. The material seems to be of a higher quality than most costumes and I think you could dress it up or down, depending on the character you are portraying. There are several different kinds of fabric used which give it both textural depth and added eye catching detail. I only wish the strings for the bodice and back were inserted and not separate. But that is just me. This is a good price for the quality of the dress you are getting!

My husband and I went as Lady Galadriel and Gandalf from LOTR. This dress was the perfect fit (literally!). I am 5’1”, 145lbs, and I am in a M in these photos. I initially ordered an XL based on the comments, but it swallowed me, so I sent it back and downsized (always fun for a girl!!). The velvet is great quality and has stretch to it, so it is very giving, while the corded corsets in front and in back assist with proper fitting for multiple sizes. The chiffon sleeves and lace trim is just beautiful, and it was easy to steam out the packaging wrinkles just by hanging up and using an iron (or a steamer would work as well, if not better). I did embellish the dress with some tiny crystal hair clips along the front corset loops, down the cording and around the hood, just to add some elvish sparkle, but the dress itself certainly is beautiful enough to wear without embellishments. Constructed with great quality stitching. This dress is one of my best purchases from Amazon in recent memory and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing it if you are looking for this style of dress or costume.

I bought this for Halloween as a witch costume. It's perfect, good heavy material, love the sleeves. Definetly great value for the price, great fit. I would absolutely recommend this product!

This dress I got for a witches walk. The dress surprised me. It was heavy. Good quality material. I was warm all night. Very comfortable. Fits to your body. The dress was long enough that I could wear heels and it still covered my feet. I highly recommend this dress. The dress is true to size I am 5’1 115 pounds and I got a size small. Perfect for me.
