Ms Cole is an absolute wonderful aurhor.
She is totally engaging in her prose and I absolutely love the way that after and wrongdoing has occurred she follows through with a way to right it all again. So your never left with a clifhanger or wondering "why did that happen"? Or any stories that end in such a way of well now I HAVE to read the next in series BEFORE I see the new solution or the end? Nope you won't find that with this author. She is as great in every story as she is in the last read.I love that she has the type of books that are all of stand alone value. Though I do plan on reading some box sets just to see if I really do have to read the next or if they will continue to please a reader who loves stand alone books and boxes series.Way to go Ms Cole . I have been reading your books for the last two or so weeks and cannot put them down once engaged. I haven't felt this excited about an author in quite sometime. Your great at what you write.Misty Morsr

Great!
Wow! After Charlene's husband is murdered, she is still grieving three years later. Then she meets Samuel, and falls in love again. But he is not all he seems to be. There was a lot of intrigue in this book and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen.

Enjoyable to a point
Book was slow moving through most of it. Too many unneeded details, so I skimmed through most of it. I almost stopped reading it, but it did grip me enough that I wanted to know the ending.

really good!
This is the second time I have read this book & liked it just as much as I did the first time. Charlene was real, although her neurosis was a redundant read at times. If you like a thriller pseudo romance this book is for u!

Twists and turns
I will say this as a warning (no spoilers)... the first 25% of the book was a little tedious to get through. It was just day to day issues, therapy visits, rinse and repeat. However, I pushed through. I am so glad I did. Even though I thought I had figured it all out, I was incorrect. The plot twists and turns are worth it.The characters are extremely developed and have layers and depth to them. You often don't see that.Press on. It gets better! Fantastic book. No grammatical errors spotted, which was also refreshing.

Boyfriend thief
Charlene was out to dinner with her husband. A thief killed him for their wallet and purse. They were so in love. Just started out. She had to go into therapy. Her therapist is Dr. Neal. They talk almost every day. She won't go out of the house. She won't go for walks. She is a mess. She has a on line friend, but still doesn't leave the house. This was a fantastic book. I could not put it down. If you like a thriller you'd like this one.

Nauseating
This is the first fiction book I've written a bad review for, mostly because I am a nice person and try to find SOMETHING to appreciate in each book I read. This book, mostly notably the protagonist, had me wanting to smack someone. I really tried to feel sorry for Charlene, but between her talking about how she had so much money she could do whatever she wanted for the rest of her life ( not one thought of using it to help others ) and her insufferable self pity and lack of basic common sense, I feel she deserved to be taken advantage of. This book was rediculous and hard to get through. I finished it to find out how it would pan out and when I saw the ending I was just plain disgusted. This book was more of a cheesy romance novel than any kind of thriller.
