Chess Assistant 15 PRO

This is premium Chess software and intended for those who want advanced features and functionality.It is a bit buggy, however, and the company seems to be repackaging old software year after year to make money. For example, the documentation talks about version "9", yet this is version 15! The UI has changed very little (or none) over the years so I suspect the company is counting on marketing a new version and not new and/or improved features.In fairness, each "new" version does give you another calendar year of access to their 7-man endgame tablebases, and that's worth consideration.

I tried to re-install the software and is asking for serial number.. serial number not available on the box... have to search the document associated to this dvd box.

Fast and rather hard chess has three activations and many hack attacks to deactivate, even reject.

A great database program if you are dedicated to learning it (see my version 14 review). If you have version 13 or 14 you have to decide if the upgrade is worth it. The only thing I can see that has changed between these versions and version 15 is an updated Huge Base and of course you get a year of automatic huge base updates. If you do not own a quality Chess database and are willing to work to learn how to use it, Chess Assistant is an excellent tool.
