Great fit 2011 RAV4 2.5L better than OEM. Charging now at 14.4v
Great fit for my 2011 RAV4 2.5l engine. At 130k my alternator died. Pulled into a parking lot and the car just shut down so it was parked safely. Got a jump but after removing the cables it shut down again. Luckily I had a usb charger port with voltage display and it read 10 volts where it should read at least 13.5 while running. That confirmed it was not charging. #1 issue with that is a bad alternator. Ordered it, arrived in the morning and replaced it. Tools needed 10mm and 14mm sockets some extensions and a long ratchet. Be careful threading in the lower bolt must be hand started otherwise you will cross thread it. Take your time. I lube the end of the bolt with a drop of oil to help it get started. This is 1/2 price of Autozone part. If I knew I would replaced it at 100k as a preventable maintenance instead of waiting until the OEM fails because it will. Common problem with RAV4. I would hate to have it fail on the highway, you loose power steering as it’s electric. My advise don’t wait replace yours at 100k.

Great for the price
Needed something fast and not super expensive for my 2012 Toyota Camry. So far my car is running great, but it's been less than a week since it's been put in. Will check back in about 6 months or so and update on whether it's still running good. Item came slightly chipped but luckily in a spot where it doesn't affect the alternator's function. Just needs better packaging so protect during transport, my only complaint so far

So far so good. Fit just fine like the OEM alt.
Fits my 2013 Scion tc perfectly, charging the battery at 14.2 amp right out the bat.

Exact fit and individually factory tested with included test results in box
Perfect fit for 2010 RAV4. I was happy to see the quality of this alternator out of the box. It is a perfect match for the Denso it's replacing. I tested the voltage after install and it exactly matches the factory test resuolts (yes, it looks like each alternator is individually tested and they include the results in the box). Amazon did not ship it in a secondary box, but rather it's actual packaging box wrapped in plastic. Not sure if it was only my warehouse or all that do this. Accordingly the inner box was somewhat damaged which concerned me, but the foam around the alternator protected it pretty well. No issues so far with a few months of use. Quick tip IF YOU HAVE A RAV4 - Watch a YouTube video or two on how to get the belt back on. It is NOT as straightforward as with most other cars. I have 20+ years of shadetree experience and getting the belt back on with this RAV4 about kicked my butt until I watched a video with tricks on how to do it.

Check your electrical connection before ordering.
This didn't fit my car, even though the description said it would. Here is what you should check: on the top of your alternator is a plate giving the part number. Check the part number against the list on the description. Next look at the location of the electrical connections. I post pictures of the old alternator and this replacement. You can see the connections are in a different location and are not the same plug. I will give it a 3 star rating because I couldn't use it but I suspect the alternator itself is a good product.
