Limited use disclaimer: hopefully I don’t have to return to edit. I ordered this and received it quickly. As an engineer, I appreciate the construction. It’s really well made and the electronics inside are done very well for what is visible. The blades are sharp and have a VERY nice quality blade-tooth guard. The price point is great for this manufacturing and whoever is producing the shell and internals is doing awesome work. The charging dock is great, very easy to use and you know when you get a connection because of the visible, bright indicator. I gave it a full charge after inspection and trimmed my hair and face and it did a GREAT job. Clean, high-quality, low-friction, haircut . It has some awesome features, like the multi-stage fade settings but into the blade adjustment lever. I didn’t get bit, like nearly every Wahl full-sized clipper has when I hit those weird angles. So far, very satisfied. Thanks TPOB! Give those engineers, designers, and manufacturers some love.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this because it had good reviews and the brand recognition. Quality: The hair clippers feel solid and well made especially for the value compared to others. Works well: It works really on my children's hair. I was surprised how easily it shaved through even my one son's hair who has above average thickness. Ease of use: It is super easy to use and love the fact that it is cordless and rechargeable. It makes it so much easier when I can seat my kid in front of the TV while I cut there hair instead of being tied to a plug. Plus you don't have to worry about the cord getting in the way. Even with battery power, it is quite powerful and better than any other hair clippers that I've had in the past. Size: The size is perfect and fits my average sized male hand well. My wife says it fits well in her hand too. Cordless: As mentioned, I love that it is cordless and rechargeable. Heat level: It doesn't seem to get super hot but you do feel some heat if you touch it near the clipper portion. Overall, I am super pleased with these TPOB Slime 2 Barber Hair Clippers for Men 6800 RPM with Matte Green Case and X Fade Blade and really have nothing bad to say. I have done about 30 hair cuts so far without any issues. I do regularly clean it and oil it between cuts which I am sure helps.

Got these to shave my own head, as I no longer enjoy spending $25 and sitting around a barbershop. I specifically went with this brand because I already owned a beard trimmer from them that I’ve been really happy with the last year. They look really cool and the base station makes finding a spot for them much easier. It comes with all the guides you would need if you plan to actually use them for legit hair cutting. Obviously it’s cordless and it charges in the base station, which would be my only complaint bc it uses a proprietary cable and these days I’m annoyed by anything that can’t just use USB-C. As far as the actual shaving part it works phenomenally well. Battery holds a long charge, it cuts effectively with zero hair pulling. I noticed Amazon asks specifically about that and as someone who has used a bunch of clippers before I can assure you that if you’re having a problem with hair pulling from clippers that are even remotely well equipped then it’s likely user error and not a product flaw. You either didn’t charge it enough and the blades are moving slow bc it’s dying. OR you are trying to shave through too thick a batch of hair and it’s going to clog up. OR you aren’t cleaning and oiling them properly after use and so your 3 month old clippers are Beat and rusty like you owned them for a decade while living in the rain forest. Make sure you’re following proper care of your gear, bad reviews should be reserved for bad products and NOT a result of bad ownership.

First let me start by saying these clippers really surprised me. They are great! When you first receive your package and open the box you will be greeted by the clippers looking up at you with the awesome slime green calling out to you. Once you lift the tray up you find all your guards (8 total) your small bottle of oil and a small cleaning brush. You will also find your awesome slime green charging base as well as a supplied charging cord. (Charging block is not included, you only get the cord so make sure you have a block to use it needs a 5v 1amp block for using the charging base and to also charge the clippers without the base. The power is rated at 10 watts and seams to be powerfull, my son has a head full of hair and it cut through with no issues and no bogging down. The battery seams great when I first received the clippers I did as the instructions say and charged them fully before the first use and I have cut my hair (#1) all around and my sons hair using no guard, 1/2 guard and #1 guard and battery still seams to have plenty of charge. They seams to be very durable and made with quality, the size is perfect for my hands and fits comfortably in my hand. I love that they a cordless making them extremely portable and really easy to use anywhere. I like that the taper lever clicks making it less likely that you move the lever adjusting the taper of the blade accidentally. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the purchase of my TPOB Slime 2 hair clippers. Contents include 1. The clippers. 2. Charging base and cord. (block not included) 3. Blade protector. 4. It is easy to use, has a nice design, and feels great in your hands. No hair-pulling smoothness for fading. A great budget clipper for the price. Great for beginner barbers. The blade cut well. This version comes with the XO fusion blade, which gives the clipper versatility.

This is an excellent hair clipper, I am very impressed how nice it grooms hair. If I ever have the need to purchase another clipper it will be TPOB. I bought a case for the clipper as well. I cut my own hair and have for the last 3 years, and these tools have made me look like a pro. First and foremost, I love the cordless feature. When you have to clip the back side of your own hair cordless for me is a must. The Functionality outstanding, the ease of use, contributes to the comfort of holding these great clippers. Last of all the Attachment combs for the different lengths you need to deal with when trimming your hair are provided and definitely helpful. I highly recommend these clippers, I am very finicky about my hair and who cuts it, and every time I found the right person who cut my hair the way I liked it cut, and each time I went back to my barber the same person may or may not be available so I watched and learned. Now I do it myself.

I’m 53. Been cutting my own hair since I was 16. I’ve owned probably 8 or 9 different hair clippers in that time. All of them were various models of Wahl clippers. I never owned the top models. Magic Clip. Seniors. Too expensive for me. Anyway, the Slime 2 is the first non-Wahl clipper I’ve owned. The price was right. HOLY CRAP. This clipper moves through my hair with ease, cutting through like butter. I’ve been using it for almost 2 years now and it’s still amazing, just like new. Again, I don’t know how it compares to Wahl’s top clippers, but this is half the price of those. When this clipper stops working, I’ll probably stay with TPOB and upgrade to the TPOB Play, which is still cheaper than other top-performing clippers. If you want a great clipper for a cheap price, this is the one.
