This bulb syringe really does work and helps my newborn a lot, but you have to learn how to use it effectively and not gove up too soon. Newborn nostrils are tiny and the smallest boogers that form inside create a weblike membrane, obstructing their breathing, making them feel uncomfortable and fussy. If your baby unlatches, wakes up from their nap, etc.: check for boogers the same way as you would check their nappy. First thing you want to do is flash a torch (on its dimmest setting) into their nostril to see what it looks like inside. You'll see that to help clear their nasal cavities, you need to angle the tip of your saline spray a certain way. Give the saline spray time (1-3mns) to soften the boogers, then you can insert the bulb syringe with your finger pressed so as to cause succion. It may take 2 succions per nostril but it will work. Your baby might protest, but the instant relief you'll witness straight after makes it worth it. Also haaka is a fantastic brand, their breast pump is the best.

This has worked a treat, it's the best snot sucker out there! The material is soft, the bit that goes up the nose is a great size! Fits perfectly up my 7 months old nose and she has very small nostrils! The suction can be however strong or gentle as you like. The two part system makes it so easy to clean! Super simple, does the trick! One happy mumma!

It's a quality protuct, just not as usefull in our experience. I liked the ability to clean it easily, but in the end we were not using it as much. I didn't like the idea of them at first, but the ones that you hook up to a vac, or just suck with your mouth work much better and faster than this. And in the end if I can minimise the baby's discomfort that's the number one priority.

Didn't work so far. Couldn't remove any snot and had to revert back to a snot sucker which I wanted to replace with this

J’ai acheté ce poire mouche bébé pour bébé car je suis déjà grand fan de cette marque. C’est très bien pensé en terme de nettoyage car c’est en deux morceaux donc on peut atteindre tous les coins pour bien les nettoyer. Et c’est en silicone platinum donc de la grade la plus saine, sûre et qualitative. Ce mouche bébé en revanche est plus pour aspirer les crottes de nez et pas vraiment pour moucher entièrement bébé des muqueuses en cas de nez pris. Pour cela il faut plutôt optez pour le lavage de nez au sérum physiologique donc nous l’utilisons en complément. Mon fils a aujourdhui 7 mois et je m’en sers autant qu’à sa naissance donc nous en sommes très satisfait. Aussi tres pratique a emporter partout donc j’en ai une deuxième dans le sac à langer ! Seul petit bémol : j’aurais bien aimé qu’il y ai un deuxième embout plus grande et arrondi peut être pour que ce soit plus évolutif pour quand bebe grandit. L’embout est très fine mais du coup plus bébé grandit plus ses narines grandissent aussi donc des fois je n’arrive pas à avoir ce côté hermétique pour bien aspirer tout ce qui est un peu dommage
