This set has exceeded my expectations! All of the brushes are extremely responsive (so easy to control with predictable results) and spring back nicely. They hold plenty of water too and are very well made. The big surprise was the triangular petal brush — never seen anything like it before, but it was love at first use! This set is an excellent value for the quality and usefulness, and a major upgrade over the cheap synthetic brushes i had been using. Highly recommend!

I have been learning watercolor and was searching for a set of brushes that were better quality than just craft paint brushes. I tried several other brands of brushes for watercolor but didnt seem to get the results I was expecting. I decided to purchase these after reading reviews and watching several artists reviews. I am so happy I decided to buy these! This is a wonderful set of brushes. They are beautiful for one, and they do hold water and paint well. The variety in this set is great. Since purchasing this set, I have added other Princeton brushes to my collection. All have been great! As I grow in skill, I will be adding more.

Excellent for beginners

These are my most used set of brushes. The are durable,yet soft and hold a lot of water and paint. Very nice strokes and lines.

I'm new to watercolor painting...to any painting, really. These were well priced and of nice quality for me to start off with. I'll likely look for some that are a tic better as I get better with my artwork.

Let me start out by saying I m not a professional but, this set has changed the way I paint! With the Velvetouch Angle Shader 3/8 leaves and roses became much easier. The round brushes in this kit are great for the different size flowers I create! These brushes bounce back to their original shape shape when taken care of properly. And lastly they seem very durable! Oh, I didn't mention much about the Velvetouch petals brush 8 that is included with this kit...to be clear that's because I can't at this time give a fair review of the brush. I haven't had time to use it much. Please don't let that keep you from missing this opportunity.

I’m new to watercolor, this set seems like good quality at an extremely good price for a nice mix of brushes. So far the brushes seem durable, keep their shape and perform the variety of painting styles/tasks that I am trying to do with them. Very happy I went with this combination.

Nice sized brushes for petals and leaves the triangle brush is a bonus for me
