This pen exceeded my expectations! At first, I was a bit apprehensive about buying a single pen for more than a dollar or two. I’m not really an avid writer, and I can get by just fine with the cheap plastic pens you can find at CVS and Staples. But this pen has changed my perspective! It writes so smoothly and elegantly, and it feels good in my hand while I write. I have to buy thin-tipped pens because my handwriting is very small, and the tip of this pen is perfect for me. When I write, the words don’t look all scrunched together because the pen is so fine that each letter stands out clearly without blurring or smudging. I also really like the added touches in the presentation. For example, the pen comes with a refill cartridge that has a little cap on it so that it doesn’t dry out. Additionally, the cap of the pen doesn’t have a way to clip onto the end of the pen when you’re writing, which I think is nice for this particular pen because I would be worried that the cap would scuff up the wooden exterior. The box is very sleek too, and the whole presentation of the pen in the box is so elegant that I would expect it to be more expensive than it is. I got this pen in walnut, but I think I will be getting some other colors as gifts for my friends and family this holiday season!

This IS a Rollerball pen. Take note! It is NOT ballpoint pen. Writes reasonably though if you slant it too much the ink will not flow out. If you do not want your writings to be water-soluble, you can replace the ink with Mitsubishi Pencil Signo RT UMR85N.24 Gel Ballpoint Pen Refills (Its a perfect match). Update 08Oct2025: The pen cap became loose and impossible to cap after 4 months usage.

Bought this pen as a gift for my wife. She loves it and it's now her go to pen. Nice weight and appearance. Would recommend.

The pen looks decent, but in person is more plastic looking, I don't think it is real wood. Also and more importantly, it writes terribly. The ink is half dry and doesn't flow at all well. Also tried the replacement ink and no better. This pen is not worth $2 let alone $25. Do not buy!!
