She’s Back To Her Ol’ Self!
My washer was bouncing like crazy during use. It would bang into the dryer next to it, move out of place, make a ton of noise, etc. These fixed the issue! When you go to replace the old ones, there is a specific way to release the shocks for removal. There are some tabs/clips that lock it in place on both the front and back on each end of the shocks. However, some of them are hard to get to in tight areas and you have to do both clips simultaneously. You can easily break the clips by twisting the entire shock, which is probably the easiest and fastest method when removing the old ones. Use some pliers to grip the end of the shock and give it a twist. This will save you some headache from trying to reach the backside of the shock for the locking tab/clip. It won’t damage the connections for the washer itself, as those are much stronger and sturdier than the tiny locking tabs. These new shocks are a little greasy on the outside, so wear some gloves or have a rag to wipe your hands off, as you will be removing and replacing one at a time. Do NOT try to remove all the shocks first and then try to install the new ones. You will put a lot of stress on a set of springs that help keep the washer’s drum in place. Do one at a time! Watch a video or two on YT so you can familiarize yourself with the process, if you’ve never done this. It’s not hard, it is VERY simple. I’m only giving it 4 stars as I’ve seen some people say they didn’t last as long as the OEM ones that came installed on the washer, so I’ll see how long these last. Even if they last half as long, I don’t mind replacing these as they are fairly cheap, easy to replace and can save you hundreds from a repair tech and/or from entirely replacing the washer. I was quoted $650 from a repair tech. I think I’ll just do it myself and save $625 for a 30 min job. My washer is 16 yrs old and runs flawlessly again, thanks to replacing the shocks.

Absolute And Complete J-U-N-K
I've had these dampeners in for a few days - They were good at first and then I was right back to the same wobbly/shaky issue. Took the back off the washer to inspect and found they had all leaked the thick oil used internally to dampen motion all over the bottom of my washer. Don't skimp - Save yourself the headache and spring for genuine OEM parts. Remember folks, say it with me slowly: Everything. Made. In. China. Crashes. Somewhere.
