The scale is perfect, it’s simple, light weight, and works great. Super simple to use. And perfect for everyday use. I had the Zwilling scale and it’s just terrible. The battery never held, it was easier to keep it plugged in full time. This scale is great, battery lasts long and it’s as simple as having a pair of backup batteries.

I don’t actually use the Etekcity Food Kitchen Scale in the kitchen — I use it to weigh my 3D printer filament after taring the weight of an empty spool. It’s accurate, quick to update, and the tare function works perfectly for checking how much filament I have left. The display is clear and easy to read. It may be a food scale by name, but it’s really pulling its weight in my printing setup… one gram at a time.

Easy to use scale. I put a napkin on it, reset it so it recognizes the weight of a napkin, and then place my food to get an accurate weight. It’s simple to use easy to store. I just put it in a drawer and take it out when needed. It’s plastic, and super lightweight. I don’t feel like it’s cheaply made, but it’s also not one of those super high-quality metal ones. For me this works perfectly. It was a great price and is exactly what I was looking for. I’m new to weighing my food, and this was everything I needed without any crazy bells and whistles. You can’t put a large plate on it because then you won’t be able to see the weight. But small plates or bowls work fine. So, note, that you’ll have to weigh the food before you put it on a larger dinner plate. But that’s not a big issue for me. It has a battery symbol, which tells you when the battery is low, which is helpful. I have had this for a little while now, so I feel like the battery lasts about a year.

Love this scale! Compact lightweight has all of the functions that I need. I would re-purchase.

I follow a content creator who does all of his recipes in grams using a food scale. I love his recipes but couldn't really follow the measurements so I ended up buying this scale. I had no idea I would use it as much as I have! I rarely use measuring cups anymore. It saves a step in washing to go straight to the mixing bowl. My husband recently had surgery and wasn't supposed to lift more than 5 lbs. He went to grab the tea out of the fridge and I stopped him because I thought it was too heavy. Thanks to the scale I was able to find out it was 4.6 pounds. It is extremely accurate. I have tested it against liquid measuring cups as well as dry ones and it is perfectly aligned with them. I have bought other things by this company and have found them to be very reliable.
