This product is the freshest that I have found on Amazon. The sausages are fresh, high quality, and a GREAT value for the money. Other brands I have bought here have been tough as shoe leather, but NOT these. They have a wonderful consistent firmness. These are NOT a spicy sausage, however, they are bursting with flavor. Would I recommend to a friend? Absolutely! This is my top choice. Buy with confidence.

They don't taste too bad but eventually you end up biting into a piece of hard ground up bone.

Love these, they are perfect, not very salty, the right amount of fat, low moisture content. They came in well packaged but they were shipped from California and took quite a few days to get to Ohio (funny because they are made near Chicago and traveled twice across US), so safe to get them in the winter, not sure how well they would travel in the summer with regular shipping.

I have ordered these numerous times but the last 2 times the sausages have turn white within a week or 2 . These are a dried sausage and should not turn in a week

Not too salty, great high protein snack. However, I wish they would remove the nitrates! There are other ways to preserve these.
