They dont know why/how it works, but it extends the growth cycle of each hair and increases the number of hairs that sprout. If you stop using it, eventually the growth cycle/number will return to what it was before you started using rapidbrow. I currently use it a few times a week to maintain, so i purchase about 2 tubes a year. It depends how important it is to you to have natural eyebrows, or whether you are willing to settle for drawing them in daily, or having them tatooed above your eyes. I had lost most of my eyebrows due to chemotherapy. I have been using the Eye Brow Enhancing Serum since the summer, (about 6 months), and have recently had my eyebrows shaped and dyed. They look normal again, and I am feeling much better about them. I could never have had this done before using the serum, as there were hardly any eyebrow hairs to be seen. **Q: How effective is this product?** A: I think the product has been very effective. It has made my eyebrows grow back quicker (because the hair is growing faster where I'm applying the serum as opposed to, say, in the middle of my eyebrows) which is good because I'm quite impatient, however it does require perseverance. You need to stay away from waxing and tweezers for at least 5-6 weeks to allow them to recover and then start shaping them very minimally. **Q: How can I tell when it's running out? I've been using it for 3 weeks,no change so is it worth buying more?** A: It feels dry when it runs out should last longer than 3 weeks, my daughter and I both used the same one and lasted couple months.... But when I had a brow lamination disaster causing my eyebrow hairs to snap in half and become so thin and empty, I found this brow serum and gave it a go.My pictures show my results in just 3 months, but looking back I started noticing the results 4 weeks in. Now, I have brows that are the fullest they have ever been! I have eyebrow hair growing above, below and at the front of my brows, which I never had before. I no longer use my eyebrow pencils and just tint them every couple of weeks instead of previously doing it multiple times a week.The quality of this product is amazing and i’ll never look back. I buy one every month as I do apply it morning, evening and even comb it through on as I do my makeup instead of using a brow gel if I don’t want them feeling stiff. I even had micro blading a few years ago to try to give me actual eyebrows again. I was sceptical, but this serum has been amazing and has produced an obvious improvement that people have commented on. The before and after pictures show the results - it’s not due to stopping plucking, I have not plucked them in over 20 years. I have tinted them, which I’ve done often over the years, but you can see that there is brand new growth in areas where there were no hairs before. I have had no irritation at all and have found it quick be easy to apply twice a day. I've always had quite thin and light coloured eyebrows (I'm very fair and pale skinned), but nice enough that with some powder they looked quite good. I've never really plucked them, aside from the odd stray hair. Recently though they started looking really sparse, not just thin but actually so sparse that there was little bald patches - not a good look! I don't know why this occurred as as I said, I don't pluck really. Maybe because I'm hitting 30 and my skin is now getting dryer/less nourished? Anyway, there's only so much that eyebrow pencils and powder can do, when you have not a lot to work with and this was really getting me down so I was quite desperate!Which brings me to this product... in my desperation I thought I would try anything even though I wasn't sure it would work. But it does!! I've been using it for about 4 weeks, twice a day. It's really easy to apply and quick, so it isn't a chore like lots of these things can be to do. I was worried I might react to the ingredients, as I can have sensitive skin (e.g. I have rosacea - I realise I'm sounding a real beauty at this point!) but it didn't even sting. And there's been new regrowth. It hasn't given me super bushy eyebrows, but then I never had that to begin. But it has filled in where the eyebrows used to be. Hurrah! No bald patches. It's even started to fill out the tail/outer third of the eyebrow which is where I was very concerned. I would say they are possibly slightly darker, but I don't know if it's just because they're fuller which gives the illusion of being darker.I would definitely recommend this product. It is pricey but I think it will last for a while.I did see some people say that the product they received didn't have much in it, or the wand came out dry. I didn't have this problem. There's plenty of product in there and the wand has enough on each time I take it out to do both eyebrows without needing to dip it in again.Anyway, longest review ever!
