I liked the tables at the end ob chapters that provide pathophysiological aspects of measured lab data. Disliked that they removed the annotated bibliography

Wonderful review for an MD

All you need to master the subject.Concise and on point.

They edited the sections down so the book is thinner. The language is hard to understand and it feels like it’s written for an audience that has pathology experience. Get the 10th edition if you’re learning pathology for the first time. Concepts and vocabulary are better explained and it’s easier to visually read.

This 11th Edition entitled :Basic Pathology" is a totally different textbook from Robbins & Cotran "Pathologic Basis of Disease." In short, it is an abridged version of the 2021 book mentioned above. Used a great deal in teaching nursing students.
