The smell of baxter clay pomade is an earthy/hint of citrus smell while the separation wax doesn't really have a noticeable scent. Hold - It's decent, not the best by far. It will not keep my hair in place all day, but you can readjust so not too bad. Smell - smells awful in pots, cannot tell on hair so no issues. Finish - matte, very matte - hair never looks wet with this. Use - tough to get out, need to dig it out, but application after warming in hands is easy, washes off hands super easy too. But sometimes my fringe when pushed back can separate meaning I have to mess around with it to make sure it doesn't stick up.
