Cricket Ultra Smooth Hair Detangler Comb infused with Argan Oil, Olive Oil and Keratin

I have very long, fine, thick, fairly straight, natural blonde hair. It's in reasonably good condition. This is an excellent comb for detangling long wet hair. I use it in the shower to comb through conditioner, then again after towel drying (after adding a little Argan oil to the ends of my hair). This is a BIG comb! As such, it takes a little getting used to, but the teeth are strong and wide and glide through the hair with a minimum of snagging and pulling. Looking closely, I can see that it’s been made in the usual way that plastic combs are, so it DOES have seams, but they’re so highly smoothed off they’re unlikely to do any damage to your hair. The bit about the comb being “infused with Argan Oil, Olive Oil and Keratin” sounds on the face of it to be a load of bunkum – how can a plastic comb release oil? – but, weirdly, it does seem to make a difference! If anything, it’s been making my hair feel a little TOO conditioned nearer the scalp, so I can’t always go that extra day before washing. The comb is still only two or three weeks old though, so I imagine this will settle down. Meanwhile I’ve been impressed enough to order a second one for use at my partner’s house.

I have been so sick and tired of knotty hair after showering I needed something that was going to help. I saw this and thought why not! It was much larger than I expected and therefore sometimes a little clumsy to use, but my hair glides through this far easier than a hairbrush does when wet and so I have become quite fond of it! I now keep it in the bathroom and use it to comb my hair when I have conditioner on it, as it makes life far easier!

the order process was very good and arrived on time. i have recently had a perm and the comb has been brilliant for using after washing my hair. it is a big wide tooth comb and great for detangling. definately great if you have problems with detangling thick course hair or permed hair after washing.

Me gustó. Lo uso para desenredar mis rizos tanto mojados como secos y corre bastante bien. No los deshace, no rompe el pelo yno genera frizz. Bastante bueno para los rizos

I didn’t expect it will be big size as I hoped! It slides through my curled hair with big teeth! Plastic is very firm and high quality. I recommend for wave hairs!

I bought this shortly after trying a wide-tooth sandalwood comb and being very disappointed with it (it pulled my hair like crazy). I am pleased to report that this Cricket "Ultra Smooth" comb is exactly that--it's smooth as can be. It practically glides through my hair. My hair is very thick and wavy. This comb not only glides so much more smoothly through my hair than the sandalwood comb, it leaves my hair feeling softer and less frizzy. I'm skeptical about the infusion claims but can definitely say that this comb is far superior to the wooden one. I suspect it will also last much longer, given that it's all one piece (the wood comb is not) and is therefore sure to be more sturdy. This one's a keeper. The other one--well, let's just say that my garbage can is currently smelling faintly of sandalwood.
